The $50 security deposit is not advertised at all, you are made to feel uncomfortable when you make the point, + it takes 30 min of your time being wasted until the staff finally agrees it is unsatifactory & not necessary. The first room i was given did smell of vomit. However the staff immediately changed rooms with no fuss, the upholstery in the dinning room was so filthy, i had to get a cushion from the lounge area to feel less repulsed, the breakfast did appear quite adequate however the beans were not to my taste? The staff are absolutely on point, considering what they are working with, the staff are the only saving grace to the situation. I would definitely not book online, only in person onsite, in which case i believe i would immediately decide to find alternative accommodation.

It's an old place..carpets are too old and looked unclean..Unclean beneath and beside the cots..Need a good tidy up and freshness... Friendly staff.. Food area was well looked after..

Well, for families with children who are particular about quality, I wouldn't recommend this.

Everything is fine, except for the limited reception hours. The hotel itself is beautiful, in a colonial style. The location is good, and so is the breakfast.

Very dirty, really dirty! We checked into the room and there was dirt on all surfaces, it felt like it hadn't been cleaned for a long, long time, even minimally. There is breakfast, but it's very weak. There is parking on site, really at no extra charge Excellent location, about 15 minutes walk to the city center through a beautiful area and park. 30 minutes walk to the Botanical Garden

The location of this hotel is very good, very close to the city. It takes a 15-minute walk and two parks to reach Melbourne's free tram area. In addition, the room is clean and sanitary, and it has its own parking lot in the backyard, which is rare. ;The best thing is that the staff are polite and kind. Special thanks to the staff member Gary, who provided us with a lot of information and guidance about visiting here.

It was a very satisfying trip. The staff at the B&B were warm and considerate. It felt like returning to my own home. I look forward to having the opportunity to travel and stay here with my family next time.
