The place is quiet and interior is great. Room is very big and there is a tub for bath. Coffee corner is good and free of charge. Reception was nice and introduce the hotel and room to us. Easy to go to Edinburgh city center as the bus stop is just outside the hotel with around 3 mins walk. Would recommend this hotel to others!

The Scott was lovely! Staying there was an experience in and of itself. The service was exceptional. Breakfast was outstanding. Every area of The Scott was beautiful!

The Scott is a truly beautiful hotel with a lot of character and charm. The location is excellent, and the surroundings – especially the lovely garden – make it feel extra special. The cafeteria and recreation areas are well-designed and welcoming, and the staff were polite and very attentive throughout our stay. The room itself was a little on the smaller side, but the bathroom was spacious and modern, which balanced things out. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay in Edinburgh with great ambiance, services.

The interior design makes the room really dark. And it was disappointing that there is no bath tub in the hotel room given that the weather is cold in Scotland.

I think it is very cool looking hotel, it did state it was renovated recently but you can’t tell it from bathrooms as radiator was leaking badly. Breakfast was nice but by the 9am mark they ran out of some items. Staff were lovely.

A treasure hotel worth staying in when traveling to Edinburgh! Located on a campus of the University of Edinburgh, at the foot of Arthur's Seat, the environment is elegant and quiet. The building itself is an ancient castle with a classical exterior and modern interior (with a lot of decorative paintings); there is a bus stop at the door, which is very convenient to Waverley Station, and it is not far to walk to the old town through the University of Edinburgh area The room bedroom is not spacious, but two large suitcases can be placed for two people. The bathroom is very spacious and bright. The room is very elegant, and the feeling of living in a castle is different, and it is very quiet in the university. The breakfast is authentic Scottish, with a beautiful dining environment and unique presentation.

A very perfect hotel. It looks like an old house with a long history from the outside, but the interior is very tastefully decorated. The guest rooms are exquisitely decorated and casual, and I would like to stay here for a long time. The restaurant and bar in the public area are also very tasteful.

The castle hotel has a very beautiful breakfast room and good sanitary facilities. It's just that the location is a bit remote, but parking is free and very convenient.

It is located inside the University of Edinburgh, with convenient parking. Except for the lack of an elevator, everything else is perfect, but there are also hotel staff who are very enthusiastic to help with luggage, whether checking in or checking out. The front desk service is very enthusiastic and the explanation is very detailed. It's a pity that I left early the next morning and didn't enjoy the legendary great breakfast.

Newly renovated, stylish, good service, 24-hour free coffee and tea is very considerate, worth recommending.
