Ella & I had taken extensive research on where to celebrate being pregnant with our first child, we needed somewhere that was peaceful, beautiful and had great food. after reviewing probably 50+ places in Andalucia... Las Islas was where we chose and it delivered on everything we needed. It was perfect. The hotel is situated on a picturesque site in the hills of Torreblanca. The view at the coast line below is stunning. When staying here the restaurant prioritises you sit on the newly built veranda looking over the coast line. I mention this because the hotels restaurant is open to the public however they do not get the best seats in the house and they cannot use the pool. They make you feel special. The hotel has been intricately put together over many years, every plant and piece of furniture has been meticulously chosen to suit. The rooms are flawless, comfortable big beds, TV with Netflix already installed, beautifully tiled bathrooms and fantastic water pressure for the shower... molten brown shower gel and shampoo is a lovely touch. The beautiful thing about staying somewhere with only 11 rooms means you get exceptional service and the staff at Las Islas will do pretty much anything to ensure you have a stay that has no worries and allows you to fully relax. The swimming pool area is exceptionally well maintained and sits within a heavenly garden. The deck chairs are comfortable and the Rose you can order whilst enjoying the 25 degree, wind free sun trap is perfection. Omar the owner used to run high end Lebanese restaurants in Marylebone, the food is high quality and incredible. The wait time for food can be long, but if you're looking to relax, enjoy your surroundings, have a glass of amazing red wine looking over the coast then clock watching becomes non-existent. We didn't eat here just one time in our 5 day stay... and I wish we had of. Omar, his daughter and the staff made our stay incredibly special. They ensured that our laundry service was done to the highest standard, brought us a poker set when we wanted a game to play, they got us chocolate when they didn't have, ordered us taxi's and recommended places in Fuengirola to visit. I can't thank them enough. They were perfect.. Although Omar is a Chelsea fan but I can't hold that against him. We could have stayed there in that peaceful sanctuary for much longer. It was like living in a luxurious private grounds that they were lovingly allowing us to enjoy what they had built. We'll never forget our time there and we will certainly come back. If you have got this far in my review and you have similar needs that we did... book immediately... you will not regret it. Negatives could be that sometimes only part of the poolside gets direct sun at certain times but that's hard to do, the food can take a while but if you're relaxing it's fine (plus they will sort olives, wine and bread first thing). Other than that there are no negatives. Can't wait to come back. Thank you

This is a beautiful, relaxing place. Nice and quiet, with a lovely garden and pool. Omar treated us with such genuine kindness... He was helpful in so many ways. The food was delicious. We have never had Lebanese food before, but it it was fabulous! My wife is a picky eater, but Omar offered to make any changes she needed so the meal was to her liking. We highly recommend Las Islas

We were only here a couple of nights but wow what an amazing little family run boutique hotel. Down on the seafront is so busy and not our type environment but setback in the hills is this little oasis. The restaurant served Lebanese food which was cooked to perfection. The views for breakfast and dinner were stunning and the room a unique blend of Spanish and Middle Eastern influence. All toiletries were Molton Brown. The pool area was divine. So peaceful and more than enough loungers for guests. Surrounded by plants and trees it is so tranquil with relaxing meditation type music. The family who run this amazing hotel made our stay extra special. We would love to come back!

Welcomg and very peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of town but within an easy walk downhill to town if you want it. Excellent food with a great choice of Lebanise options with friendly and very welcoming staff, nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast was continental but I'm sure if you wanted something different the staff would accommodate, we were more than happy with what we got and good portions. The room was exceptionally clean, really nice large firm bed and a well stocked fridge. Our balcony over looked the lush green garden. The pool area was clean, free towels and bottled water, comfortable sun loungers, it had a spa feel to it with gentle relaxing music and the sound of water flowing. I would recommend the hotel for couples wanting relaxation and something a little different. It's a good idea to hire a car especially given the steepness of the hill but if your fit and dont mind a challenge then you will be fine.

Location A 40minute train journey from Malaga airport costing a couple of euros. It’s a steep hill to the hotel so jump a taxi or an Uber up the hill for 5-7 euros. It’s a 10- 15min walk to the beach where there is lots of restaurants and a supermarket - there is also a restaurant up the hill from the hotel which has a range of food only 10 mins away - sometimes up out and down home is easier ( : Rooms Are very comfortable - I had a full bathroom with a bath and a side sea view from the balcony. There is air con and good quality toiletries Food and drink Breakfast is a continental brought to your table - If like me you don’t like waste make sure you say what you would like - I’m vegatarian so asked for no meat for example. The lunch and dinner selection is lovely with some nice wines - a little more expensive than jn town but service and the view is lovely - it’s also specialised compared to the Indian / Mexican / Spanish / Italian restaurants on the coast! Environment / facilities Lovely gardens with a nice pool - loungers are a little close together but that means some for all. Couple of people did the whole sun loungers towels before breakfast but it really isn’t necessary. Pool towels and water are complimentary and not limited - also a book exchange which I needed having relaxed too much with books and finished 2 extra! Overall Lovely personalised service from a hotel who really want you to enjoy - thank you. I’m booked to come back next week ( :

The wife and I have been here 6 times now. Every time seems to get better and better. There are a few new members of the team which like pieces of a gigsaw fit perfectly. Each time we come we see where Omar has reinvested in this beautiful place and all to make the guests stay more pleasurable. Thank you all at las Islas for making our stay so special. We will see you again soon. I cannot recommend this place highly enough

Perfection. Think it’s our 6th visit and it seems to get better. Sarah, Denisa and Mario looked after us superbly. The food, gardens, staff work together cheerfully and like trojan’s to make our stay relaxed, fun along with working professionally and seamlessly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and authentically spanish offering stunning views all around from private balconies. We of course will be visiting again! Thank you for our lovely week

What a little gem this place is... Everything in this true paradise we rank as a 6/5: the warm welcome of Omar and the rest of the family and staff, the spotless and clean rooms, the breakfast with a variety of fruits, bread, meat, eggs... We loved the Lebanese kitchen for dinner, fresh and tasteful. If heaven exists, this must be it ... We look forward to seeing Omar and co very soon ... Claudia - Geert - Jules, Belgium
