Room very dilapidated. Rug so big it was rolled up behind the bed and interfered with plugs being plugged into the power socket. Share bathroom had streaks in the soap scum and generally filthy. Sanitary disposal unit crammed full. Neither the heater nor the electric blanket worked. "Delicious" continental breakfast (incl Gluten free) was appalling - white bread; cheap half used tub of margarine - a few shrivelled up blueberries - cereals that had been topped up so often half the tub was just crumbs. And no gluten free - WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO...it was so bad I left at 3:45am

Tidy rooms with shared amenities. The staff here where great to deal with and also have a chat too. Off street undercover parking for motorcycles. A shared kitchen for guests with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toasted sandwich press, tea/ coffee and a selection of cereals and milk with bread/ toast for complimentary breakfast. The nice service from all of the staff really made for a pleasant stay.

We stayed one night at the Great Central in Glen Innes.It’s a bit quirky but the rooms were very clean and functional.The shared bathroom facilities were also of a good standard.We ordered a roast pork dinner at the bar.Very tasty.True country cuisine
