Hyatt Place Greensboro Downtown

This place deserves to be shut down for the way they treat their customers. I booked and waited for 2 hours to get a room and did not have a credit card but had all the proper information and apple pay. If you do not take apple pay that is fine. However, after 30 minutes of sitting around waiting, they had the POLICE come threaten to arrest me on zero grounds. I did not cause a disturbance, I did not do anything wrong. Undoubtedly I could’ve beaten the case since I literally didn’t do anything. I did get quite rowdy after the police came up to me for one reason and one reason only. The manager could’ve simply told me to leave. He didn’t have to be a p*ssy and do it through the police. You guys suck. I called corporate to file an official complaint.

Convenient location for downtown events. Front desk staff was helpful and made the stay even better. Thank you so much , my Mother enjoyed her time there.

Our experience wasn’t great. We got to our room to find someone else’s hair and trash on the floor. When I reported this to the front desk the lady’s first reaction was “oh sorry” when I asked for compensation she said the manager would have to approve, but after multiple visits to the front desk the manager was never there. We were only offered a new room the day before we were supposed to leave instead of the day we first reported the mess.

The staff was extremely inviting when we first arrived. I loved that when people weren’t around the staff was sitting with the manager. However when I needed a drink refill no one was around since they were talking in a group and joking around. I would still choose the Hyatt over the Marriott in Greensboro any day.

Seems like they are slightly short staffed. Arrived at 3 only to be told room not ready. No time given as to when. Left came back about 45 minutes later. Still not ready but manager found a room on 5th floor. I recommend avoid the 5th floor because the HVAC units are above some of the rooms and constant hum of the equipment drove me nuts. After some persistence was able to get room on the 4th floor. No noise issues. Overall clean and a good location. Staff could use more training on how to communicate with customers.

Staff was kind and helpful, facility was clean. Parking garage was attached, but I wish the second story was covered (only because it rained our whole trip). Breakfast that was provided was great. We had a great experience and would stay again.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Is large and the beds were comfy. Hotel staff very friendly.

The property was great and there was lots plot parking on the street. The staff were pleasant and accommodating.

Heating system was too loud. King bed mattress was stiff as a board. Don’t think I’ll be back.
