Atour S Hotel Guangzhou Zhujiang Butterfield & Swire's Godowns & Wharf

This was my first time staying at an Atour S hotel, which feels a bit more upscale than the standard Atour. The room was relatively clean compared to other hotels, although the slightly worn flooring made it look less premium. The front desk staff were very friendly and patiently provided information. It was super convenient to have food delivery brought to the room by a robot. Overall, my stay was quite comfortable. However, the only real downside was the strong, unpleasant odor in the underground parking lot!!

The facilities are modern and chic, and the entire hotel is spotlessly clean. The ambiance is beautiful and serene, perfectly matched by the warm and attentive service. The breakfast offers a fantastic variety of options, and a great bonus is that it's available until 11 AM on weekends. I also loved the bookstore in the lobby. This was my first stay at an Atour S-level hotel, and it was incredibly comfortable, truly exceeding all my expectations.

The moment I opened the door, I was absolutely blown away! Huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unbeatable panoramic view of the Pearl River! 🌉 Sparkling waters by day, dazzling neon lights by night. Lying in bed or soaking in the tub, you can privately enjoy this magnificent, flowing city landscape – it couldn't be more romantic! I took a hundred photos! 📸 (I forgot to snap pics of the room itself, but pic 1 is my shot from the window, and pic 2 shows the hotel's official photo style – the room genuinely has that minimalist, high-end vibe). 🛏️ **Super Comfortable Sleep!** Atour's bedding is truly exceptional! 🛌 So soft and comfortable, you could sleep naked! The pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm, with excellent support. I slept soundly until morning and woke up feeling completely refreshed! The room design is stylish and minimalist, with a premium feel. It's clean, bright, and the smart controls are very convenient. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and both water pressure and temperature were super stable – so comfortable! 🥐 **Breakfast & Late-Night Snack Surprises!** Atour's dining options really go above and beyond! 🥣 The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, with both Chinese and Western options, including Cantonese dim sum, freshly cooked noodles, fresh fruit... Cleanliness: Spotless, and the shampoo provided was quite good. Late-Night Congee Buffet (for two): Unfortunately, it closed far too early, so we missed out entirely. 11 PM is considered 'late night'? Seriously? What tourist goes to bed that early? Goodness gracious, I guess the porridge itself wanted to go to bed!

Cleanliness: Spotless! Service: Very polite! Ambiance: Facing the park, it was very quiet. Complimentary Late-night Food (Porridge for two & Self-service Supper): This was probably complimentary, which explains why it was incredibly basic. I lost my appetite just looking at it and would much rather have ordered delivery to my room.
