Great

It's been a while since my stay but we have no real complaints. They accept foreigners. There are staff that are fluent in English and helpful. The pool was empty at the time we went but it looks like its a great pool area when it's filled.

This is my second time in Guilin. I found Guihu Hotel on Ctrip where I stayed nine years ago. From a distance, the hotel is backed by Lao Ren Mountain and faces the clear and blue Guihu Lake. When we started the car and prepared to leave, he hurried over to bring purified water to drink on the road. When I checked out on the third day, I was surprised again: I was given drinks and small gifts from the hotel when I left. It was really a constant surprise! 3. All the hotel staff you meet and contact with in this hotel, such as cleaners, food servers, front desk staff, etc., can take the initiative to greet warmly and actively solve the difficulties encountered by guests! 4. The guest rooms are clean, the hot water is smooth, the linens are clean, the rooms are a**ospheric, and the views from the windows are beautiful. In particular, the hotel is located in the center of the city, right by the famous Guihu Lake of "Two Rivers and Four Lakes", surrounded by green trees, birds singing and flowers, and quiet in the bustling city. The lake and mountains are beautiful. The hotel has its own restaurant, with a rich breakfast and discounted lunch and dinner for guests staying in. This is definitely a treasure hotel. Although it is an old hotel in Guilin city and the decoration is a bit old, it has an excellent geographical location. It is on the bank of Guihu Lake, adjacent to the vegetable market, hospital, and Taiping Road snack street. It is also within walking distance of the central scenic area, but across the Baoxian Bridge, it is independent of the hustle and bustle. It is really quiet in the hustle and bustle. This kind of problem can usually be solved by brushing it with white paint twice, and it doesn’t cost much. I don’t know why the hotel ignores the problem and lets every guest who stays in the room see the abstract painting on the ceiling as soon as they lie on the bed. When the weather is clear, you can see Guilin's unique peaks and forests in the distance from the window, but you can also see the dark and old dirt on the roof of the lower floor of the hotel. I don't understand why the hotel management doesn't improve this detail that can improve the hotel's image by cleaning it up. The building itself of Guihu Hotel is very excellent. The facade and structure are almost integrated with the surrounding mountains and waters. This is better than other four-star or even five-star hotels in the city. Other hotels can't imitate it. The hotel's buffet variety is average, the dining environment is spacious and bright, and the dishes and cups are clean and tidy, but it should be pointed out that the milk is mixed with water, which is very bad. I have stayed in so many star-rated hotels, and this is the first time I have drunk milk mixed with water (in fact, I have never encountered it when I stayed in Jinjiang Star). Although the breakfast buffet is not expensive, about 30 per person, it gives a very bad impression to the guests. Some people who mind it may not choose to stay the second time. If the hotel considers the cost, it is recommended to limit the supply of milk, or supply boxed milk according to the number of people. Having said so much, I still hope that all aspects of the hotel can be properly improved, because Guihu Hotel is still very good. Let's not discuss the measures that require huge budgets such as room renovation, but through some small inves**ents and improvements in small details, it can also improve the satisfaction of guests staying in the hotel, thereby improving the reputation and reputation of the hotel. In short, the hotel is still very good, and the flaws do not outweigh the merits. I recommend everyone to stay here.
