The room is very nice with a lot of space and a nice view overseeing the river and small waterfall. The facilities like the private onsen is super nice as well. Public bath - we tried both , are good standard too. And super clean too. However, two things need to be mindful of: 1. The meal isn’t great as expected - they serve kids lunch as kids dinner, and for adults one, it is not the kind of nice setup I imagined 2. The tatami blanket is …. Below hygiene standard. I feel super itchy staying under the blanket and my boy got some bugs bite sadly. I hope they can arrange for a big clean up everytime.

Conveniently located near the station but the staff seem in a hurry all the time.

Excellent customer service. Staff can speak simple english. Hotel with more than 100years history but didnt feel that old. Authentic onsen experience, highly recommended

Probably the best location with few minutes walk from Hakone Yumoto station. Incredible hospitality and service as expected of a ryokan topped with kaiseki meals & relaxing onsen.

After exiting Yumoto Station, do not go downstairs. Walk along the overpass to the left, get off the elevator, and go straight for a short distance. The breakfast looks rich, but I am a little unaccustomed to it.

Hakone is directly accessible by the Romance Express from Shinjuku Station. Suimei is just a 5-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station, very convenient. There are several hot springs, two indoor, one outdoor, and two private ones. The private ones are very cost-effective. Luckily, there were no people in the public ones this time, which means they were all private ones, haha. I think Shanghai Japanese food is not inferior to Japan. Let's taste it. It's a bit like Kaiseki. Wagyu is well received and of good quality.

The traditional Japanese room is not new but clean. The location is very close to Hakone Station. The food is very rich and I can't finish it😂 The private hot spring is also very comfortable, it's worth going again!

The location is excellent, just 100 meters from Hakone Yumoto Station. The hotel service is OK. I ordered two meals. If you haven't tried it, you can try it, but don't eat it a second time. The best thing about the room is the private hot spring. It is recommended to book a room with a private hot spring, which is very convenient.

Great experience. The room is very Japanese. The Kaiseki cuisine is delicious. The service is very good. The staff helped to make the bed right after dinner. They came to make up the bed before breakfast the next day. The hot spring is very comfortable. The environment is very good. The location is good. The hotel is 200 meters from Hakone Station. There is a waterfall outside the window. It is very relaxing.

It's a good deal to go in the off-season. The room is ridiculously large. You can soak in the hot spring in the room.

The hotel is very close to Hakone Yumoto Station and there are many snack bars around it, which is very convenient. The hotel rooms are also Japanese-style, with tatami beds. The hotel also has public hot springs and private hot springs, which is worth staying for one night.
