I don't like this hotel..not recommend at all..feel like stay in the prison..this is like a massage shop .. you have to walk pass by in the small terrace to get to your tiny room...the worst hotel in Hanoi...just don't book here ..the same price you can find many better hotels around...just believe me . don't stay in this nightmare hotel 😫😫😫😫😫

The hotel is located on one of Hanoi’s main old streets, which is a convenient area. However, the hotel itself was quite disappointing. It was not as clean as expected, and it looked very different from the photos online. The building is old, and the rooms felt a bit uncomfortable and even a little scary. On the positive side, the air conditioning worked well, and there’s an elevator — though it’s small and can only fit about two people at a time, which shows how dated the place is. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It really needs renovation and better maintenance to match what’s advertised.

The place disorganized, dirty, untidy, messy, the first night had electricity and no working emergency lights and fire stairway full of stuff in the and cables in the way. Mould in the sleeping area and washroom in very bad condition as we travelled with a group of 8 members all the suits in extremely bad conditions. The should be allowed to run for business as in case of emergency it will 100% sure someone will get hurts.

Good location, easy to walk to a lot of interesting things. However, my room was constantly damp. All my things would always be a little bit wet after the first night. Also, the sink would leak a lot of water onto the bathroom floor whenever I used it. Thankfully, the shower had hot water.

The hotel looks absolutely nothing like the photos. The rooms were very small and overall very run down. Mould was present on the ceiling and in the bathroom.
It is in the heart of the Old Quarter which some people may like.
I would not stay again.

Staff were friendly and the area around the hotel is great, but the hotel is messy and the photos don’t depict an accurate depiction of it, great for budget travelling however

I reserved Hanoi Charming House double room on ******* and paid 27$ CAD per night. Upon arrival we were told there are no rooms available even though I already reserved and paid. The owner then said that she could give us a room at her 2nd hostel around the corner. The room we were given was nothing at all like the pictures of what we reserved. Terrible bathroom and the room was barely big enough to fit the bed. Would not recommend staying here.
