First time travelling to Harbin, the service here went above and beyond. Every time we returned to the room, our bed was made and our clothes were freshly laundered. The hotel couldn't possibly have a better location, right in the heart of Harbin's walking street. The staff were pleasant and attentive, always greeting us in the morning. The breakfast at the restaurant was nice, not very western, but it was nice nonetheless.

Very interesting idea of this hotel - the interiors reminds you about the time when in this building was living a Grand Duke.
Location is very convenient, the hotel is suited right on the walking Zhongyang Street, close walk to the river bank of Sungari
Very clean cozy rooms, friendly personnel
If you are planning to visit Harbin this hotel can be definitely your choice

When we arrived, we didn't really get a great energy instead we were welcomed by a lady who greeted us like as though our arrival was a disappointment to her. We feedback to the manager and she changed her attitude. But the experience was sort of tampered with because of that. They also have costumes below that you can wear around the lobby or even in your own room. Note that many costumes are not in good condition (Torn, Zipper not working). Overall the experience was still not too bad given its a historic hotel, and the elevator was cool.

The hotel is very palace style over 100 years old. The location is very convenient just off central Street. Breakfast is good but after having it for 4 days, seems a bit boring. The 100 year old lift and riding inside it is maybe once in a lifetime
