The hotel we booked this time is a century-old building near Harbin Station, making it very convenient for commuting by subway. This two-story building, once the hotel of the Middle East Railway Bureau, may seem unassuming from the outside, but it's truly remarkable. The interior features classic Russian architecture, with antique revolving doors and a spacious staircase, solid wood wall panels in the hallways and rooms, a high vaulted ceiling in the restaurant, and an old fireplace in the lobby—everything reflects its former glory. I absolutely loved it! The service was warm and attentive, the room was well-equipped, and the breakfast was a set meal. It was clean, simple, and adequate, and it was a great value for money.

The location is absolutely superb! It's literally right outside Exit 1 of Metro Line 3. The Songhua River Cableway station is just across the street, and the riverside is a mere 2-3 minute stroll away. Central Street and the Flood Control Memorial Tower are both within a 5-minute walk. The room was very spacious, and the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean, and they thoughtfully provided earplugs and an eye mask. Breakfast was a bit pricey; although there was a wide variety, the taste was nothing special. One minor detail: the hallway door partially blocks the guest elevator.

On my first visit to Harbin, this hotel, which I discovered by chance, was an absolute delight. It boasts an incredibly convenient location for tourists, offers nearly all-day afternoon tea, and a meticulously prepared breakfast featuring both à la carte and buffet options. The service truly rivals that of luxury brands like Four Seasons and Banyan Tree. What particularly stood out was the thoughtful gesture of neatly tying up phone cables after room cleaning – a small detail I had only ever seen before at the Regent Chongqing. We booked a garden room with a private courtyard, and the small patio at the entrance was absolutely charming. The public courtyard is also ideal for outdoor tea and relaxation. Furthermore, the customer service manager and all staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were extremely knowledgeable about Harbin's dining scene and were able to recommend the most unique and authentic restaurants to guests. They even thoughtfully prepared a small farewell gift upon our departure. This is truly a fantastic hotel, worth revisiting two or even three times! I've already recommended it to many friends.

The location is absolutely superb, right on Central Street, making it perfect for an evening stroll every day. It's also very close to the subway station and super easy to find. There are tons of great food options nearby, and the hotel's breakfast is pretty good too, so you'll never run out of dining choices. We booked a family room this time, and for such a prime and valuable location, the room was surprisingly spacious. The interior facilities are brand new, featuring smart home amenities, which made for a fantastic stay. A special shout-out goes to the front desk team – the young ladies and gentlemen. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly, and quite charming to boot!

This was my second visit to Harbin, and I happily chose the Mercure Harbin Sophia again. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, the hotel was spotless and well-maintained, and its location is truly unbeatable. Stepping out and turning right, you're immediately at St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street, which leads directly to the Songhua River after a pleasant stroll. The breakfast spread was rich and diverse. My absolute favorites were the delicious Northeast Da Cha Zhou (corn porridge) and the freshly ground soy milk. I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel to anyone visiting Harbin!

Best hotel I stayed at in China, very tasteful and very new interiors, great service - on checkin they gifted us a number of self care items which genuinely helped us to sleep better, you can ask for as many heat packs as you need throughout your stay to keep you warm when you go out, and on checkout they gifted us some unique russian snacks that we wouldn't have tried otherwise. Location was also incredible - the metro station is literally across the street and there's a handy drive-in space for pickup and drop off if you order a taxi, so no need to be outside in the cold for longer than necessary. Overall incredible hotel and I would definitely come back next time.

The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around, and Central Street is just a 10-minute walk away! The bed was perfectly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The entire place was spotless and well-maintained. The staff provided warm and attentive service, and the breakfast spread was impressive too! Overall, Kunlun Hotel has reached a high standard in terms of hardware facilities and service quality, and it is a very pleasant stay experience.

It was great to have a robot deliver takeout to the room. The breakfast was also very rich and delicious, and the dining environment was very nice. I will definitely be back next time.
