We were warmly welcomed to this lovely guest house by Andrew. A beautifully appointed entrance set the tone. Our bedroom was airy and bright', and a comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The bathroom too was airy and roomy. A perfect morning meant we were able to breakfast al fresco. Marcelle and her assistant cooked an excellent hot breakfast, and the variety of fruit, delicious pastries and cakes, and cheeses were impossible to ignore and made for difficult choices. Marcelle and Andrew are excellent hosts. Ours was just an overnight stay - far too short. Perhaps a tad expensive for South Africans wanting to spend several days in this lovely spot (making it difficult to put a value to "value") but we can't fault anything else, which is an important consideration.

We had a great room probably the best view and level of comfort we experienced during our stay in S.A. location was good Mountain View’s close to the coast a quiet and tranquil part of town, would highly recommend it if you are looking for a good quality guest house

Very warm welcome, excellent breakfast with fresh products Very clean room heating was missing in the room and at breakfast Very good advice from our host to see the whales. Paths are next to the house to see whales

A wonderful home away from home! A truly peaceful relaxing space with an awesome hostess to boot. Thank you Marcelle for the friendly banter and making our stay all that more special! A neat and tidy Guest House with a great room. It has a nice breakfast area and Marcel serves the best full breakfast I have had in a long time. The GH as a nice bar area. It has all the amenities that one would expect. However, Marcel you need to go solar asap.

This guesthouse feels like home! Property is exceptionally clean and tastefully designed. Quiet private location right on the cliff walk, just 10min walk to the city center with all the restaurants and shops. Delicious breakfast. Marcelle and Andrew are wonderful hosts and very sociable. I would love to visit again !
