7 on Marine

"Despite the fact that I was ill during our stay at the beautiful 7 on Marine and somewhat confined to my bed, the staff did everything to make things as easy and pleasant as possible for me. One employee even took a bicycle to ride to the local pharmacy to get medication. A top team and very friendly people. The room and the accommodation with a jacuzzi are excellent, and the hotel is close to Fick’s Pool, a nice bar by the ocean where you can take a swim."

Grand Lux Boutique Manor

"Unfortunately my wife was ill and was unable to travel. I reached out to the hotel directly to explain that as my wife was having a major operation and having an unfit to travel document we would very much like to rebook at a later date . However the hotel showed no empathy or sympathy and refused our request . Money is there only consideration putting their own financial gain and profit before a woman undergoing cancer treatment! I will add the only hotel along the garden route that has shown such a shameful attitude. Way goes around comes around !"

The Thatch House Hermanus

"The Thatch House is incredibly beautiful in every way. From the location, the decor, the food and the service, there is nothing more we could have wished for. Slightly outside Hermanus, we enjoyed the gardens and the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming."

Ocean Edge Apartments

Hermanus Heights Villa

"The apartment is very spacious. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only downside for me personally is that it's not very cozy; I wouldn't want to live here for long. And one more thing: we found an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the balcony from the previous tenants when we went out to look for whales with binoculars! Yes, there were binoculars, too."

Lavender Manor Guest Lodge

"We had a very restful night at Lavender Manor. Comfy bed, nice bathroom facilities and everything we could possibly need. Also a wonderful location - an easy stroll to the beach."

Anchor's Rest

"Stayed at their apt 9 waterfront apt. Great instructions for checking in and getting the keys. The photos made it very easy. The apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need for your stay. The pool area upstairs was lovely and the central location was perfect. A little noisey on a weekend, but nothing horrendous and it's the price you pay for being right in the centre. View was good, more than a side sea view, that is advertised. Nice having milk and coffee when you arrive, dsaves you having to shop on the day you get there. Plenty of space in the apartment and good sized bathroom. Had a few issues with the lights but was sorted quickly. Also note had issues with the Netflix, but used our own account, so didn't cause any problem. Note.. There is only Netflix in the room, no standard sabc TV. Parking was no problem. All in all had a great stay and would recommend and stay again. Karien was very helpful as a host."

6 Stemmet Lodge

"Wonderful lodge! Everything was super! Incredibly nice people and delicious breakfasts!"

First Group Hermanus Beach Club

Penguino Guesthouse

"We really liked the hotel, great location and very friendly hosts. The rooms are new, clean, cozy. Very tasty breakfast in the morning)"
