But if you want a comfortable, clean, nice room in a quirky neighborhood with friendly and helpful staff, at a good price, then I recommend Ode. the owner and her staff were very helpful and made sure I had whatever I needed. The room was very nice and had character, spacious, with a nice bathroom."

Great
NNgMoonI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

JJay-Ar LucasThe Pod Inn Hotel is strategically located in the heart of Toronto, and the place is clean with amenities suitable for a quick overnight stay. However, it was my first time sleeping in a pod-style space, and it really creeped me out. My claustrophobia kicked in, the ventilation felt poor, and the pod itself was much tighter than expected. Even my wife was shocked at how squeezed the space was, and the clip fan didn’t make the experience any more comfortable.
For the sake of convenience and to avoid being late for an early morning appointment, it served its purpose. I would still recommend it to backpackers or travellers who just need a simple place to sleep. But if you have extra budget, a conventional hotel or motel is definitely better for a proper night’s rest. Overall, it’s not for me, I’d only consider staying here again if I needed a last-minute stop without bringing any luggage.

GGuest Useraccommodated well for driving. Plenty parking lots. The staff was so helpful and very willing to provide assistance. Cookie is good. No Safe for property in room but the microwave in room really good for me having night snacks habits. btw , Tim Hortons just right next to the inn, you can enjoy your coffee anytime you want to.

SSeow Hui MinGood place near a lot of local locations. Recommended. Front door is hard to find, only has a white piece of paper on it indicating the name of the inn. Staff is helpful and let us leave our bags in the office early before checking in.
Some minor technical difficulties with the room door but overall not a big problem. Wifi sometimes a tiny bit slow but functional. Didn’t manage to take a photo of the room, but online it said it had a stove but there was no stove in the actual room.
