"If you are looking for a fancy hotel with a lot of amenities this is not it. But if you want a comfortable, clean, nice room in a quirky neighborhood with friendly and helpful staff, at a good price, then I recommend Ode. the owner and her staff were very helpful and made sure I had whatever I needed. The room was very nice and had character, spacious, with a nice bathroom."

It has good basics: 1) safe; 2) reasonably clean, even the showers/bathrooms; and 3) peaceful, with amenities such as tables to eat, kitchens to use, even an ironing board, and various call-booths. It's cheap, but is it value-oriented? It leaves me feeling unsure... Especially if you were to consider upgrading to the larger pods...

Front desk staff were very good. Room was okay, had a weird musty smell probably because of the carpet. Mattress on bed was horrible definitely needs to be replaced. Overall it was just okay. The location was perfect for my needs.

The location is convenient, just a 3-minute walk to a streetcar stop and McDonald's, and then another 5-8 minutes to Chinatown. The room was cleaner than I expected, but just note that there's no elevator and daily room cleaning isn't provided. Overall, it was a good experience.
