There may be noise at night due to a karaoke venue on the 3rd floor. This accommodation may not be suitable for guests who are sensitive to noise.

"New small hostel, very clean and gracefully furnished. There are 5 rooms (I was in the female dorm alone for 4 nights!),laundry service for 6000 Won or 10000 (washing+drying),they provide towels, toiletries, slippers,a huge terrace upstairs,a kitchen. The included breakfast is instant noodles and a bag of tea (I didn’t try the noodles but the tea was quite good),they ask you to leave the room between 11 am and 4pm for housekeeping, but nobody from the staff is there at least until noon. Check in is at 5 pm,but the kind receptionist let me check in half an hour earlier. You won’t find proper hostel vibes atm,and there are some things still missing (like a small light on every bed, knives and plates in the kitchen) but I guess it’s just because it’s very new. Sometimes the karaoke downstairs can be loud at night but with earplugs is almost ok."

Great
AAndrey SemakovThe location is superb, with a direct view of Gwangalli Beach and the bridge. These are apartments, so there is no cleaning service and you have to take care of everything yourself. Please also note that the hotel requires guests to sort and dispose of their own trash. As a suggestion, it would be great to provide large bath towels for the shower. Also, the glass balcony is currently covered with frosted film, so when sitting down, you cannot see anything. Ideally, the film should be removed; otherwise, there is not much point in having chairs on the balcony. On the positive side, the room is good, neat, and spacious. The furniture is nice, and there is a kitchen with everything you need. Overall, we liked everything, especially the location and the view. Thank you! We recommend it.

QQijiangoxoThis hotel is really close to Busan Station, about 1.4 km by taxi, which is super convenient if you're taking the KTX. It's pretty centrally located in Busan, so getting a taxi to go north or south for sightseeing is very easy. The natural light during the day is fantastic, and the environment is clean and hygienic with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom! Plus, the breakfast here is absolutely delicious! Eating a big breakfast meant I wasn't hungry until the afternoon, which was perfect for a full day of exploring. I'll definitely book this place again on my next visit!

GGuest UserThe place was a bit dirty when we arrived, hair in the bathroom in the sink and some stains on the walls as well. Walls are extremely thin, you can hear people outside of your room and your neighbors enjoying their night. For the price I paid, I’m not going to complain. However, the workers were extremely nice, if you don’t mind the transportation time, I would recommend.

GGuest UserI recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Elephant in Busan, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character. Check-in & First Impressions: Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel. Room: I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area. The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value. Amenities & Services: While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything. Location: This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night. Staff & Hospitality: Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected. Overall Impression: Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.

AAnonymous UserTitle: Absolutely Impressed with Billy Hotel – Excellent Service and Incredible Value! I recently had the opportunity to stay at Billy Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, I must commend the cleanliness of the room. It felt new, modern, and all the amenities were thoughtfully arranged. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to get a full night's rest after a long day of travel. The hotel's location is also fantastic; it's very convenient for getting around. There are many interesting restaurants and attractions nearby, which saved me a lot of travel time. Moreover, all the staff were lovely and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. It made me feel right at home! If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and value-for-money accommodation in this area, I highly recommend this place. It's truly the best choice. If I have the chance to return, I will definitely choose to stay at Billy Hotel again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

MMarcSuper nice hostel with a great inferior design. The capsule was not too big to keep the luggage there but what to expect. The bathroom and shower was clean and hot water available. WiFi was working fast so you could work there. Location was close to the beach and a few minutes walk to the metro station. I highly recommend this hostel.

HHeladoThis is a budget hotel/motel chain from Busan. But I feel like I found a hidden gem. While it’s in a busy nightlife area, it’s generally quiet. Well, it gets loud on the weekends some week day nights, but tend to get quiet before midnight for the last trains home. The delux room was more than big enough for a solo traveller. I felt very at home. The owners are kind and helpful. There’s a kitchen with instant ramen and coffee if you need to save some money, and lots of restaurants and convenience stores outside. I’d recommend this place for folks looking to save some money but still like some comfort. Worth noting a lot of Korean rooms have a “universal remote”. So the aircon controls are actually on the same remote control as the smart tv. I’d recommend using a translation app on your phone if you’re not sure because it is all in Korean. Some reviews seem to mention “no ac remote” but I think this was the misunderstanding. It confused me at first! I liked it so much that I extended my stay here. Very easy to do via trip app, and they have a self check in machine that can extend your stay too. Weekends tend to be more expensive though. I’ll almost certainly be back here if I’m in Busan again. 감사합니다!

GGuest UserI stayed here just a few days before, and chose to stay here yet again after coming back from an excursion to Busan. The self check-in process is smooth even after the check-in counter is closed at late night. Perfect location if you arrive into Seoul train station at midnight, either from Korail or airport train. Even if all metros lines are closed. You can just walk to the guesthouse within 10 mins from Seoul station. During the day, there is a metro station at your doorsteps connecting to Seoul Station in 1 stop. The room is clean and warm. The owner is very friendly.

GGuest UserI stayed here for an extended period with my wife and our 3- and 4-year-old children. There's a convenience store, a tonkatsu restaurant, and a pizza place nearby, so it was great for the kids. My family and I walked to the laundromat to do our laundry. It's a little far, but it's a good place to stop by on your way out for dinner.
