The Oh MY Hotel Yeonje Busan provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Oh MY Hotel Yeonje Busan is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Busan. The hotel is only 2km from Centum Station and 15km from Gimhae International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Mangmi Metro Station within walking distance. Seeing Busan's sights from this hotel is easy with APEC Naru Park, Busan Fireworks Festival and Sajik Baseball Stadium all close by. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness.

"Excellent! The staff member didn't speak English, but he was incredibly patient and used a translation app to communicate with me. Seriously, so, so patient! Sometimes there were misunderstandings, but he would patiently wait for me to rephrase what I was trying to say. He was also super nice and let me check in early! The room was perfect โ€“ very spacious and comfortable. The staff member knew I was an ARMY in Busan for the BTS concert, and he even gave me BTS Oreos ๐Ÿ’œ and some boiled eggs, haha! The location is also good; it's not super convenient for public transport, but taxis are really easy to catch."

"Busan is on a business trip. It is a hostel chosen nearby by a promise of alcohol with an acquaintance, but the price is the best. Nearby restaurants and subway public transportation are right next door, and parking is spacious. Highly recommended."

My husband and I first visited this place 20 years ago, and we just returned with our kids for a 3-night, 4-day trip. My husband usually handles planning and reservations, and he booked this hotel because it was new. I was a bit excited but also worried about how it would be. As soon as we stepped in, the owner and staff greeted us warmly and kindly explained all the facilities. We split into two rooms. Even though it's right in front of Busan Station, it was quiet, and we slept soundly. The cleaning service was daily, and the drinks in the fridge, along with the constantly accessible mini-bar on the first floor, were excellent. The Busan fish cakes for breakfast were absolutely delicious! The owner was incredibly kind and resolved any issues we had right away. Before we left, they held our luggage, which allowed us to enjoy the afternoon with the kids without any hassle. We enjoyed the snacks they gave us on the train. We'll definitely be back soon; the kids loved it too! The owner mentioned opening a second branch soon โ€“ we wish them great success!

Ease of Check-in: This hostel is conveniently located in Nampo-dong, close to Busan Station, making transportation very easy. Even arriving at Busan Station around 1 AM on check-in day, there was still a bus to the hostel, and there are direct airport buses nearby. The surrounding Nampo-dong commercial district offers super convenient options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Security: There's a dedicated area for female guests, requiring key card access for entry and exit. Rooms also have lockers with locks. Facilities: I booked a 5-person room. Although not large, the room was very clean and bright. The beds had curtains, and the bedding was comfortable. There were plenty of power outlets and good lighting by the bed. While the hostel isn't huge, it's very cozy. The toilets and showers are quite spacious. Free breakfast is provided (it's simple, and you need to prepare it yourself). The kitchen is well-equipped with cutlery and cooking utensils. The water dispenser even has an ice-making function. Cleanliness & Environment: The hostel is generally quiet, and the cleanliness is excellent โ€“ super clean! Service: Most accommodations in Korea operate with self-check-in, and this hostel doesn't have a 24-hour front desk. However, the hostel consistently sends out emails to guests beforehand with detailed check-in guides and reminders, making the overall check-in process very smooth. The room key card also feels high-quality. It truly lives up to its high ratings and great value for money in Busan. Highly recommended! ๐Ÿ‘

THE GOOD It's important to understand that this is an affordable hostel with a view but is not as fancy as it may seem in the photos. You're not going to get a luxury, super-comfortable stay with a bay view at this low of price. Speaking of the view, it's very nice during the day and at night from the top floor breakfast room and the bay view rooms on the levels right below it. Speaking of breakfast, you do have to cook the eggs yourself, but there are three burners and some other good food options, too. We also had a great experience with the staff at the reception desk, who were friendly, helpful, and apologetic about any issues. The WiFi was good, with a modem and router in each room. The location is great, too, if you love shopping streets, street food, fish markets, wharfs, and a more locals side of Busan. Access to the subway and buses is incredible, so you can get over to Haeudae Beach, Gwangali Beach, Dadaepo Beach, Gamcheon Culture Village, Busan Station (for trains to Seoul and Gyeongju), and more, but if you want to frequent Haeudae, it's kind of a long haul from here. THE NOT-SO-GOOD Our bay view room was a bit gimmicky, because while the view was nice, the room is quite small, has flimsy furniture, and lacks hooks (except the one in the window where the sun will fade your clothes). The wall of windows is cool to look through, but in May, we had the curtains closed 99% of the time because the south-facing room gets blasted by the sun and the AC isn't powerful enough to counteract it. The room was in need of maintenance, too, with ruined flooring due to a poor bathroom door design and things starting to fall apart in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, if you need 100% total privacy, it may not work for you. The shade over the very large window is barely sufficient in its thickness, and it has a two-inch gap on either side where you can see down to the street 9 stories below (see photo). You have to stand in a specific spot in the bathroom while showering with the handheld showerhead in order to feel entirely private, and you have to be very careful to not spray the leaky door. We also discovered that things that aren't used regularly can be dusty, and we found dust bunnies in the hallways. The bed also had a firm, squeaky spring mattress that didn't encourage the greatest sleep. If you're a backpacker or budget traveler like us, you'll find this place passable (especially for the price, location, and breakfast), but if you have normal hotel standards, this hostel may not meet them.

The hotel is in an amazing area, even though the hotel entrance isn't on a very pretty street, the main road is just a few meters away. The only thing we didn't like is that the closet is tiny and only has two hangers. There's nowhere to put suitcases or clothes; you have to open and close your luggage on the floor to get things out. Even in the bathroom, there's no space for toiletries; it's barely big enough for toothbrushes, and there's no room for a toiletry bag. In that regard, it's very inconvenient.

Excellent not expensive option, clean, quiet, quiet. Women with low social responsibility are led to the first floor. Big towels weren 't in the room.

It's a decent hotel for the price. It was very cheap on weekdays, about $22, and 50% more on weekends. Room 603 was spacious with a Jacuzzi tub and shower, but the shower faucet handle was broken, but it worked. The renovations definitely need updating, and the view from the window is decent, as shown in the building overview below. Overall, it's a good budget stay for a week. Definitely better than a hostel!

I stayed here just a few days before, and chose to stay here yet again after coming back from an excursion to Busan. The self check-in process is smooth even after the check-in counter is closed at late night. Perfect location if you arrive into Seoul train station at midnight, either from Korail or airport train. Even if all metros lines are closed. You can just walk to the guesthouse within 10 mins from Seoul station. During the day, there is a metro station at your doorsteps connecting to Seoul Station in 1 stop. The room is clean and warm. The owner is very friendly.

I stayed here for an extended period with my wife and our 3- and 4-year-old children. There's a convenience store, a tonkatsu restaurant, and a pizza place nearby, so it was great for the kids. My family and I walked to the laundromat to do our laundry. It's a little far, but it's a good place to stop by on your way out for dinner.
