WangxiaodaiI booked this place over a month in advance, and it has a lovely modern-retro vibe, very cozy.
The shower and toilet are separate, and it even comes with a Dyson hairdryer. The room feels different from a typical hotel room.
On the ground floor is a coffee shop owned by the same person, which closes at 9 PM. You can use your card to enter and exit through the side door. Upon check-in, you get two complimentary Americanos (you can swap them for other drinks by paying the difference).
It's very convenient if you're visiting Yeongdo, though it's a bit far from Gwangalli and Haeundae.
Little surprises:
1. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower caps, etc., are provided.
2. The mini-fridge drinks and snacks are free.
3. A handwritten note and a creative cultural souvenir are gifted.
Amenities:
Convenience store: Across from the coffee shop.
Shopping: Nampo-dong Walking Street, Lotte Department Store, Olive Young, etc. (10-minute walk).
Restaurants: Many dining options nearby, and the owner also provides recommendations – check the check-in guide.
Minor regrets:
1. The bed frame has sharp corners, and due to its placement, it's easy to accidentally bump into it. You need to be mindful of your walking path.
2. The separate shower room has no place to put clothes.
I booked Room 2 this time; I wonder if other room types have a better layout.
This place is very relaxing, perfect for a two-day getaway to clear your mind. The owner is also very enthusiastic. Afterwards, you can switch to another hotel in Haeundae or Gwangalli to enjoy the sea, explore attractions, and go shopping.

Anonymous UserThis is a relatively new hotel located at the entrance to Haeundae Beach. The location is decent, though you do have to cross a road with two traffic lights. If you're unlucky, you might wait 90 to 120 seconds, but it's still very close.
The side sea view is just okay; you need to be right by the window to see the beach, but it's nice on a clear day.
It was very busy during the summer holidays, and our room (01 02) wasn't cleaned by 2 PM, but everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Guest UserIdeal location: the main street full of shops/cafes/restaurants that work from early mirning till late evening, close to the metro station, located nearly at the beach. Main tourist attractions are near: the beach itself (1 minute walk), food market (1 minute cross the street), Busan aquarium (5 min walk) etc. The room is big and clean, two beds were big too. The room was equipped with a fridge, a kettle and cups, tea and coffee bags, hairdryer, TV that had a movie channel in English. Free luggage storage service after check-out is also provided. We will definitely stay here again if we come to Busan once again.

The view is absolutely stunning! You can see the highway with the ocean view, plus Gwangandaegyo Bridge! The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable, though the pillows were a bit soft. The location is quite convenient, with OY department store, Shinsegae, and some delicious pork soup restaurants nearby.

I was satisfied with cleanliness until the last day when I noticed that my sheets had what seemed like dried blood on them.
Location is amazing but that’s also why it’s a popular choice for tourists. Getting an elevator from 8-10am and 6-8ish was rough. But loved the location!
Service is average, nothing to complain about but nothing exceptional either which is not a bad thing at all.
Pleased with the hotel amenities fitness centre but the room amenities seemed like it was setup with just the bare minimum. Would have been nice to have a larger mirror outside the bathroom or even have a light for the small mirror inside the cabinet. Fridge was very small - could not fit takeout containers without turning them sideways. Shampoo, conditioner and body products all seemed pretty cheaply made. Shampoo didn’t even foam up and conditioner felt no different than hand soap.
We’re at a different hotel now and after using their products for one night my hair actually seems healthier than when I was back home.

АнкотикWe stayed at this hotel during the BTS concert in Busan, and it was the most budget-friendly option for us. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were crisp (which made sleeping even more enjoyable). There's a cafeteria on the 1st floor where you can make instant noodles, grab coffee/water/tea, and they also provided tea and coffee sachets in the room. The room has a TV with Korean channels (something for everyone!) and streaming platforms (Netflix, Disney+, etc., but you'll need to use your own account as they're not paid for). We also liked the hotel's location. It's a 30-40 minute walk to Gwangalli Beach (we didn't try taking the bus).

5 stars is Ctrip's limit, not this hotel's limit!!!!!
We stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights, and on the fourth day, I sprained my ligament. A big thank you to the front desk lady at Lavie D'or Haeundae for helping us find a large hospital 400 meters from the hotel on the map. We were in and out in 2 hours. She also reassured me that many people sprain their ankles in Korea, and she was very kind.
Facilities: Excellent. The toilet was automatic, and the shower had great water pressure and was super hot. The only minor issue was that the blinds let in too much light, making it very bright in the mornings. I'd suggest adding blackout curtains.
Hygiene: Very clean, spotless.
Environment: Good. The room was spacious, with plenty of room even with two large suitcases open.
Service: The front desk was incredibly helpful, providing whatever we needed. Housekeeping is every 4 days, and you can pick up water and fresh towels downstairs daily.

Guest UserReview of Raviens Maison de Hotel
1. Location
The hotel is situated along a back alley, which may make it slightly less visible for some Uber or taxi drivers on first approach. However, this is a minor inconvenience. The surrounding area is well-served, with two convenience stores, a McDonald’s, and the popular Busandang Bakery nearby, offering an impressive selection of baked goods and a pleasant café on the second floor. The hotel is also approximately a five-minute walk to the main Haeundae Beach shopping and dining street, which makes it a convenient base overall.
2. Front Desk & Service
Front desk staff generally communicate in decent English, which is helpful for international guests. Upon arrival, we reached about an hour before the official check-in time of 4:00 PM (notably later than most hotels). Early check-in was offered at an additional charge of 18,000 KRW. While understandable, there is room for improvement here—particularly when rooms are already available, a more flexible approach would enhance the guest experience.
A more significant concern was the housekeeping policy. For a five-day stay, only one room cleaning service was provided. This is quite disappointing and does not align with expectations of a hotel, especially given that rates remain at a premium during peak season. This aspect significantly detracts from the overall experience.
3. Room & Facilities
We were assigned a room on the 21st floor. The room is spacious, resembling a studio apartment, and comes well-equipped with a kitchenette, washing machine with dryer, and a clothes steriliser (particularly useful for refreshing outerwear). The room includes both a queen-sized bed and a super single bed, along with heated flooring for added comfort. Tips: offer English translation card to show how to use the washer/ dryer would be useful.
The room was clean and well-maintained, and the highlight is undoubtedly the view. The panoramic outlook over Haeundae Beach and the sea is excellent, complemented by a large balcony with seating—ideal for relaxation.
However, another shortcoming is the lack of proper bath towels. Only small-sized towels were provided, which were also used as floor mats. This is below expected hotel standards and should be addressed.
Overall Assessment
The hotel offers strong positives in terms of room size, amenities, and especially the sea view. Its location is also convenient despite the slightly hidden entrance. However, the limited housekeeping service and absence of proper bath towels are notable drawbacks. Addressing these areas would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

Anonymous UserThis hotel is amazing. The harbor and city view was breathtaking. The room was really nice with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom with bathtub.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They kept my bags before having access to the room and after check out.
The location is nice. The nearest bus stop is 1 min away and underground station 8min away. The hotel is 2 stations away from Busan station.
However, I’d recommend not charging for a toothbrush and toothpaste. Maybe give it at check in for those who would need them.
I would definitely consider coming back to this hotel !

Guest Userthe property was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The location is also excellent, making it very easy to get around.
However, the sleep quality was disappointing. The beds were collapsing at the sides and felt quite worn out, which made for an uncomfortable night's rest. If the management replaces the mattresses, this would be a fantastic place to stay, but for now, it's hard to fully recommend for a long visit.
