"The room was good and the bed was massive, but the air conditioning wasn't very powerful. Fortunately, Changbai Mountain gets cool at night, so opening the balcony door allowed for a comfortable sleep. The illuminated lawn (which serves as a ski slope in winter) was a great spot for an evening jog; it was truly refreshing. Pros: A wide range of activities, well-rounded facilities, and an excellent hotel location (though its proximity to the commercial street meant it could be a bit noisy). The breakfast spread was generous. Cons: The air conditioning wasn't cooling adequately, the swimming pool only opened at 1 PM, and the Hanla Mountain Hot Springs were extremely overcrowded."

"The room was clean and spotless, though the facilities felt a little dated. The bedding, however, was top-notch and incredibly comfortable. While the hotel's breakfast didn't quite live up to the standards of five-star hotels in major cities, the local Northeastern stews and meat buns were absolutely delicious and suited our palate perfectly. There are plenty of activities around; the various complimentary activities, coupled with nearby hiking and trekking options, could easily fill a four-day itinerary. The restaurants within the resort served consistently good food, and we didn't have a single bad meal during our stay. Here's a ranking of the activities by how much we enjoyed them, from most to least: various sliding activities > water park > forest hiking > pedal boats > hot springs (which were crowded and cramped, feeling more like a public communal bath). We unfortunately missed out on paragliding; otherwise, it would surely have been our number one. All in all, it's a perfect Northern getaway destination."

"A big thank you to our WeChat butler, Jason Sui, for his incredibly enthusiastic service! Upon arrival, an airport shuttle bus took us directly to the resort hotel, and they also provided airport transfer service for our departure. The hotel pool was nice, though it wasn't very busy – I guess most guests were out exploring. The kids' play area was a bit small. On our last day, we spent a pleasant afternoon at the KTV. The breakfast on the first floor was, as many have mentioned, quite mediocre, and the coffee was very weak. However, the plain congee with pickled vegetables was excellent! Although our butler had also arranged breakfast at the Executive Lounge, the congee was all I really needed. The hotel was generally clean, and our room was serviced promptly. They even thoughtfully provided unlimited Nongfu Spring bottled water on each floor for guests. Overall, we had a good experience, and I look forward to seeing Tianchi Lake on our next visit!"

"I'm absolutely thrilled with my hotel choice! We stayed for three days, and every day was filled with delight. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view was truly breathtaking! The scenery outside the window was breathtakingly beautiful! I can't praise the service enough! The response was incredibly fast, and any questions I had were instantly addressed. A huge thank you to my housekeeper, Coco! She was so thoughtful! From itinerary suggestions to small daily needs, she always responded promptly and made arrangements clearly. She truly made me feel incredibly welcome. It's such a blessing to receive such warm care while traveling! I'll definitely be back next time!"

"The hotel rooms were spotless and fully equipped. The resort features a cable car, Wow Lake, and various entertainment options like stand-up comedy shows. There are plenty of activities at the resort, and the overall environment is great. Guests staying in the cycling suites even receive complimentary ice cream. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and all resort personnel were incredibly detail-oriented and meticulous. Any issues were addressed promptly, which was excellent! The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. Transportation within the resort is very convenient. We also enjoyed the excellent food and great rice wine at the log cabin restaurant near the hotel. We took the 1442 steps up the West Slope to reach Heaven Lake (Tianchi). It was a rare clear day, offering stunning panoramic views of Heaven Lake – absolutely breathtaking! We're already looking forward to coming back in winter for skiing!"

"The hotel is located on the west slope of Changbai Mountain. We are grabbing the south slope tickets at the public account at 6:00 pm. There are few people and no queues throughout the whole process, suitable for bringing elderly children. The hotel environment is clean like a big community, eating, lodging and playing are very complete, sent a lot of children  entertainment projects, there are  glass plank road,  hot springs, fireworks and iron flowers,  amusement park, etc., children's holiday is a good choice, breakfast is many types, I hope the taste can be improved! Sound insulation is not very good!"

"It was off-season when I traveled, so there were few people in the hotel. We shared the breakfast room with the hotel opposite. The breakfast was simple and there were not many choices. We booked a family room, which was relatively large and the various benefits were also good. There was nothing to eat around Luneng. In comparison, Wanda Resort was more convenient."

"Facilities: While the facilities are a bit dated, you can still tell they were originally fitted out to a high standard, maintaining a certain level of quality. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. Location: The location is excellent, very close to all the attractions and dining/shopping spots within the resort, so there's no need to rent a car. Cleanliness: Cleanliness was very good. Toiletries were replenished promptly, and the unlimited supply of bottled Changbaishan spring water was genuinely delicious. Overall Experience & Value: This hotel is one of the more affordable options within the Wanda Resort. I was a bit hesitant when booking, but it truly exceeded my expectations. The biggest highlight is the hotel's private hot spring. It's incredibly convenient to enjoy, and I learned that all other hotels in the resort used to send their guests here for hot spring access. Seeing other guests lugging their bags to the hot springs while I could simply stroll downstairs in my bathrobe gave me a real sense of privilege."

"This hotel is really a surprise! I would like to especially praise Miss Zhang Huixin at the front desk, who arranged everything for me very well! The lady not only patiently and meticulously introduced the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions to me, but also coordinated and arranged my itinerary in a timely manner. The hotel's car pick-up and drop-off service is also very good. Miss Zhang Huixin will communicate and coordinate in time. One night, it was very late, and she also arranged for a master to come over. It was really warm, especially when I was traveling alone, giving me a full sense of security! She also took the initiative to ask about the purpose and itinerary of my trip, and provided me with many thoughtful suggestions based on this. Her suggestions were both practical and thoughtful, making me feel the warmth of home. The hotel also arranged a rich itinerary, which made this trip really full of surprises and constantly surprised me! Changbai Mountain in winter is really worth coming! The service of the lady is like a warm spring breeze, which makes people happy and comfortable. She won my praise and trust for this hotel with her professionalism and enthusiasm. If I have the opportunity to come to this city again, I will definitely choose this hotel again ✈️✈️✈️✈️"

"The hotel has a great location, right outside the Changbai Mountain Scenic Area, good front desk service, and upgraded us to a family room when we saw we were with a 6-year-old child. The thoughtful and detailed service is a thumbs up. The breakfast is very good, with dozens of dishes such as milk coffee and soy milk. The children don't like to eat early, so the hotel manager specially arranged for the kitchen to make egg cakes for the children! I will choose this hotel again next time I travel!"
