Chikuma Hot Springs Hotels

It was an amazing stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the natural onsen was wonderful. I even felt like my skin improved during our few days there. We were initially a bit worried because two people in our group have tattoos, but it wasn’t a problem at all (as long as the tattoos are covered and not too large). They even sell cover stickers at the reception (220 yen per sticker, size 10 × 20 cm), which was very convenient. Both the indoor and outdoor onsen areas were beautiful and very relaxing. Even though the rooms were traditional Japanese style and it was quite cold outside during our winter visit, the rooms were kept comfortably warm. The futons were super comfortable and we all slept very well. One thing to keep in mind though, is that the ryokan is about a 30-minute walk from the train station. It’s also a good idea to bring cash, as credit cards may not be accepted. That said, the town itself is quiet and charming. On the way to the station, you pass a lovely river with mountains in the background. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily come back again!

Very very satisfied, strong Japanese style. The hot spring water temperature is very good and the hot spring is very comfortable. Dinner was closed at 19 o'clock. We arrived at the hotel a while late and the restaurant was waiting for us. Thank you very much. The free car from the hotel to Hucang Station departs at 10 o'clock. In order to catch the train at 10:04, the driver departed two minutes in advance and let us catch the train. Thank you very much. Very user-friendly service. Super satisfied.
