Our family of five, including three young kids, had an absolutely fantastic stay at Rosenheim Tokyo Shinjuku Okubo. The hotel is conveniently located near Okubo Station, making it a perfect base to explore Tokyo, yet it offers a peaceful and welcoming retreat from the city's bustle. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional service. Mr. Agawa, in particular, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, his warm demeanor, attention to detail, and willingness to assist with every request made us feel truly valued as guests. It’s rare to encounter someone who genuinely takes pride in ensuring visitors have a seamless and enjoyable stay, but Mr. Agawa epitomized that spirit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a family. The hotel's calm and family-friendly environment allowed us to relax after busy days of exploring. We wholeheartedly recommend Rosenheim Tokyo Shinjuku Okubo to anyone visiting Tokyo. With its prime location and the exceptional hospitality of staff like Mr. Agawa, it’s a gem we’ll be happy to return to on our next trip!

I stayed on the 3rd floor. It was a bit challenging at first, but they handled it well afterwards. The station is right in front, and best of all, there's a Lawson, 7-Eleven, and FamilyMart practically right outside. It's located somewhat among residential houses, and the accommodation itself felt like a Japanese home. The location was good, and the facilities were decent. The heater in the inner room wasn't very effective, so it was a bit chilly, but it was fine once I got under the covers. There's no elevator, so going up to and down from the 3rd floor was a bit tough. I'd probably use this place again if I go to Tokyo. Next time, I'll definitely try to get a room on the 1st floor.

The hotel's location is super convenient. It's just a few hundred meters from Ikebukuro Station, but make sure to use exit C6 as indicated by the hotel – other exits shown on Google Maps will take you on a longer route. Stepping out of the hotel, it's incredibly easy to go shopping. BIC, Don Quijote, and the Animate district (very popular with anime fans) are all just about a ten-minute walk away. There are also tons of restaurants nearby. The room itself is clean and cozy, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area. The shower style is perfect for those who aren't keen on using public bathtubs while traveling, which I really appreciate 👍. The toiletries provided are also excellent. Considering that Ikebukuro is such a prime location, this hotel offers fantastic value for money overall.

Cozy stay near Asakusa area. A little far from Minowa station if you’re taking the train but there’s a bus stop a few mins walk from the stay to nippori. However there’s no lift, think twice if you have many luggages as it’s located on 3rd or 4th floor. Kind owner allowed us to store luggages for free until 3pm on checkout day. Amenities are new and in good condition.

A single-family homestay, fully self-service, the hotel has no management staff, tatami room, floor mat, very comfortable to sleep, clean and hygienic The guestbook shows that there are basically more Korean tourists One thing that really deducts points. Someone actually tried to enter my room in the middle of the night! Very scary! Through the peephole, I saw that it was a couple of tourists staying in the room. They were not Chinese, but probably Korean. They must have walked into the wrong room, but they kept trying the password until the system reported an error. They also tried to force the door open. I was scared to death It is not recommended for girls to stay alone. It is too dangerous without management staff. And the room is on the first floor (the second floor is a six-person room). There is no anti-theft window outside. The safety factor is really low If there are boys in the same group, if you don’t consider safety, the overall hotel is still very good. High cost performance, convenient travel, direct to Narita Airport

Great location! About a 15-minute walk to everything. The hostel is clean, and the reception, lobby, and a microwave are on the 3rd floor. It's not a huge space, but it's generally sufficient. They provide towels, toothbrushes, and there's gel and shampoo in the shower. There's enough space in the capsule, and no queues for the toilet/shower, but there's absolutely no quiet. Morning, day, evening, night – it doesn't matter, someone is always running around, packing bags, washing clothes, or drying them. Earplugs and an eye mask are essential! There are 20 capsules on each floor. I stayed on the 7th-floor female-only dormitory.

The price is very cheap, the upper and lower bunks also have a separate bathroom, the air-conditioning is very sufficient, and the clerk is very enthusiastic. The location is not very good, a little far from the Nanqianzhu Station, it takes a long time to go to other places in Tokyo, but it is relatively close to the Asakusa sky tree Akihabara. The room is slightly smaller, but other hotel rooms in Tokyo are also very small. Considering this price, it can be said that the price is very high and suitable for poor travel.

Our stay at the hotel was generally good, but a group of Chinese guests were quite disruptive, causing a lot of noise until and after midnight. The staff should enforce stricter rules and monitor guest behavior more closely to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.
