"This is an excellent hotel! The staff are all wonderful, especially the restaurant servers who were incredibly professional. When I needed a spoon, they even wrapped it in a napkin before handing it to me. The hotel's environment and facilities are also very clean and tidy. There are many supermarkets nearby; Hofer is the most convenient, about a 3-minute walk, and Billa is also an option though it's a bit further. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. While it's a bit of a distance from the metro and bus, it's still manageable. Overall, it's a great value for money hotel with beautiful views."

There are also a few nice cafes nearby. **Facilities:** Standard toiletries are not provided, so remember to bring your own! They charge a €100 deposit, which was refunded to my UK card in about a day."

"When I arrived, there was no one at the reception desk—Artur was alone, taking orders at the bar, and didn't notice me right away. While it was evening and there should be 2 receptionists, given the increasing demand at the bar in the evening, I had to wait for Arthur who made a cocktail at the bar. After filling out the form, I was forced to wait again for Arthur, who was dealing with a client in the luggage room who claimed his bag was missing. After Arthur gave my keys, I eventually went to the room with no available space on the lower level, and I was forced to return to reception to change rooms, but again, there was no one at reception or in the bar!!!After I had to wait, Arthur returned, but after speaking with a guest from Gran Canaria, he left again. After another forced wait, Arthur returned and eventually gave me a room with a free bed on the bottom bunk, but I wasted a lot of time! There should be several staff members at reception in the evening, not just Arthur, who is also the manager!"

"Everything was good, location, lobby, reception, cleanliness. Just housekeeping tried to enter my rooms once at 8.00am and 2-3 times(8am, 10am and 11.15pm in the morning next day. They just knocked then tab the card without waiting. Feel really unsafe. Not sure why did they do that. It was still early. Told receptionist and he was sorry and said that it should not happen. That’s it."

"Forgot to take pictures, the location is very good, in the place equivalent to Beijing Wangfujing, the surrounding attractions are very concentrated. The sights in the city are within walking distance, and the subway is far away, and it is also close to the subway station. The room is large and the decor is European style, very beautiful. If you are staying in the evening, please contact Ctrip for the first time in advance, as the front desk will be off work at 10pm. Did not eat breakfast, looked at it is not very good, very few varieties, went to the opposite McDonald's to eat."

"3 days stay in Daniel, it’s my first time for this hotel. The room is nice, stylish on design. Toilet from the door seperate from the shower next to window side, not sure if many likes that. Bed looks good but not soft, pillows are made of feathers so a little bit picking, comforter is not intact. No mini bar option, no disposable slipper. The shower is great, good flow of water. I didn’t see any attendant check my room for 3 days which is sad. Breakfast the same set up for 3 days, in restaurant staffs are not focussed, for 3x breakfast, 2x dinner, only the lady with curly hair is on point. Plants and ceiling are dusty. Bread is all day available. Reception are friendly. Popcorn all day available for free. The entire hotel has not much facilities, I just thought above floors or roof top would be a good spot on the boat."

"I stayed at Maxx Vienna from 11 to 15 October 2025 and had a truly enjoyable experience. The location was excellent — close to the U-Bahn, with cafés and shops within walking distance, yet quiet enough for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating and professional throughout my visit. I especially want to thank Angelina from the front desk, who handled my last-minute request to extend my stay with such kindness and efficiency. It made a world of difference after a small mix-up on my end! My room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The separate blankets were a nice touch — no “blanket fights” during the night! The overall vibe of the hotel was modern yet cozy, making it feel like a comfortable home base while exploring Vienna. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, well-located, and genuinely welcoming hotel in Vienna."

The hotel room is spacious, well-equipped, clean, and meets a 4-star standard. We were given a courtyard-facing room, which was very quiet as it wasn't facing the street. The breakfast is excellent, and they even serve champagne on Sunday mornings. The hotel is only two intercity train stops from the Central Station, and it's just a few hundred meters walk from the train station. Nearby, there's a Lidl supermarket and many restaurants. Tram line 71 stops right outside the hotel; taking it to the left will take you to many city attractions. Turning left outside the hotel also leads directly to the entrance of the Belvedere Palace, which is incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to independent travelers!

Stayed for three nights, and it was super convenient to get around. Right across the street is a transport hub, making it easy to get to the airport. There's also a big shopping mall with a bubble tea shop that my kids loved. We could walk to all the main attractions, and there's a park right next door. Plus, the breakfast spread was really diverse.

I booked a family room for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children. They don't allow an additional child. The location is very close to the main train station, and you can also walk to Belvedere Palace. There's a bus stop near Belvedere Palace that's much more convenient than taking the subway, as it goes directly to all the popular attractions in the Old Town, like the Musikverein, Karlskirche, Hofburg, museums, and City Hall… I only discovered this on the day we left! 😅 I bought a 48-hour transport pass, which felt like a better deal than the City Card, as the latter mainly offers discounts on attractions that you might not even use. With the transport pass, taking the train from the main station to the airport only costs 2.2 euros (half price for children). It takes 16 minutes to get to the airport, and even without the pass, it's not expensive – if I remember correctly, it's 2.9 euros. The hotel offers almost no service; it's mainly self-service. Housekeeping is supposedly every four days. Since we only stayed for 2 nights, it was acceptable, but I imagine it would be a bit uncomfortable for a longer stay.

The hotel's location is excellent! There's a bridge nearby that leads directly to the city center, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the Black Death Tower, making it very convenient for getting around. The service and facilities are genuinely great. Check-in was fast and smooth, and the staff were very polite, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The facilities are quite comprehensive; there's a steamer for ironing clothes, and the room has a fridge stocked with still water, sparkling water, and other drinks, which are replenished during room cleaning – a thoughtful touch. Slippers are also provided, and the bathroom amenities are well-stocked. The room size is just right. There's enough space to open a suitcase and still have room to sit and relax without feeling cramped. A nice bonus is the JBL alarm clock in the room, which can connect via Bluetooth to play music. It's perfect for listening to music when waking up in the morning or unwinding at night.

The listing said there was a bathtub, but my room didn't have one. The room photos also showed rooms with only a shower, so it might be that rooms are assigned randomly. If you really want a bathtub, it's probably a good idea to note it in the special requests section. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and it had a fridge. There are also lots of supermarkets nearby, which was a plus.

Smartments just within the walking distance from Wein Hbf, via the entrance near to Plaftorm 9,10,11 there, just next to SPAR Pronto mart. Inside the main train station you can find all you need so is very convenience. The hotel was highly with self serve register and check-in upon the arrival. However, there’s a receptionist at the front counter was very helpful, assigned the room for me adequately, truly appreciated. The room was equipped all your need just like the second home. WiFi and TV works well, except no aircon in the room, only with one small tower fan so may need to open the window during summer time. Overall is good stay. Thank you.

The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. We asked for hot water and they immediately gave us a brand new kettle. Because we checked in quite late, the room we were given only had one bar of signal, and the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect. Even mobile data was sometimes unusable because the signal was so bad. Plus, the bathroom door didn't have a lock; it seemed to be broken. Since there were no other rooms available, we ended up having to stay in that room with the terrible signal.

Because I lived in a hotel in Europe for the first time, I was accustomed to the domestic habits and did not bring slippers. As a result, the restaurant did not provide it. Without the converter, the result was not provided by the restaurant, so I bought a difference of 12.9 euros. Ok! If you live in a European hotel, you must bring the necessary items, otherwise you will have a bad point. The distance from the Schönbrunn Palace is not there, but there is no breakfast shop. We had to go to the Golden Arch in one subway station and then to the Schönbrunn Palace in the subway. The hotel is very quiet, the morning is the window, wake us up.

Good design concept, with very well located apart next to the metro and trams, also with walking distance to HBF. Superclean! Good staff for cooking. The big inconvenience has been that there is only one auto check-in machine and it didn't work at 14:00 when everyone was there to try to allocate. The on-line check-in works but doesn't provides any QR thoufh their text claims so (all the ten persons there had the same situation). And the rooms were finally available at 14:20, only then the machine started to delivee keys. I will be back and hope this swlf-service peoblem no longwr exists.
