ChijiaoxingzoudexianrenI can honestly say this was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Australia, and it introduced me to the Meriton chain. The room was very spacious, and it had every appliance you could need, making it perfect for an extended stay. There are tons of Chinese restaurants nearby, and they're all pretty good. It's a shame I only stayed one day. I'm definitely considering Meriton for my next stop in Melbourne. I'm curious if the hotel offers any special rates for long-term stays. I hope the hotel can get back to me, as I'm interested in staying for a longer period.

Anonymous UserThis stay was excellent, very satisfying! The room size was just right, enough space to open two large suitcases, and the bathroom was quite spacious and clean. Check-in and check-out were smooth and convenient. Transportation was decent; it's a ten-minute walk to Mascot, or a bus ride of under 10 minutes to Sydney Airport T2 and T3. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious! Great value for money.

Hotel location and surroundings: It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the airport, mostly on sidewalks, though you do have to cross a main road in the middle. The section of road approaching the hotel can be quite dark at night.
While there's a McDonald's and convenience store nearby, getting to them requires a long detour because of a major road.
Front Desk/Check-in: There's an accessible ramp, which is convenient for luggage. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth.
Amenities: There's a snack bar near the front desk with reasonable prices. There's also a restaurant on the same floor where you can grab a bite to eat.
Room: The room isn't large, but it was spotless. There's a wall-mounted desk and chair, which is handy for working. The wet and dry areas of the bathroom are well-separated, and the shower area is notably raised.
The room comes with a large glass carafe and two cups. You can refill water at the water station in the hallway, and the water is clean with no strange taste – a big plus.
The only minor downside is that the air conditioning is slow to cool. Even set to 20 degrees Celsius with max fan speed, it still takes at least 10-15 minutes to start feeling cooler.
Shuttle Service: You can book it when you check in at the front desk, and they'll give you a green ticket. The earliest shuttle is at 5:00 AM, and then it runs every half hour. The ride takes about 10-20 minutes.
Shuttle Service Note: The free shuttle service has been discontinued; it now costs $12 per person.

I was in Sydney for a couple of nights for personal matters before flying to the Gold Coast, so I booked this hotel near the airport after a lot of searching. After arriving at T1 International Terminal, I followed the airport signs to the free shuttle bus to T3. From the T3 arrivals hall, it's about a 10-minute walk to the hotel according to the map. It's manageable if you don't have too much luggage, not a big deal. To get back to the airport, it's the same route. On the day I left, it was raining, so I took the hotel's airport shuttle, fearing my luggage would get wet if I walked. It cost $14, which isn't cheap, but a taxi would probably be similar.
Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the furniture and appliances are a bit dated. The bathroom has a bathtub, so you need to be careful getting in and out. You have to turn off the lights one by one. They don't provide complimentary bottled water; even the mini-bar water costs money. There's one free carton of milk. If you need a toothbrush and toothpaste, you have to ask the front desk. I always bring my own, so it wasn't an issue for me, but it's something to note if you don't. The room overlooks the airport terminal, and it's not too noisy.
Cleanliness: The housekeeping service was excellent and very thorough. They even tidied up my messy data cables and placed them neatly on the desk. The room looked very clean overall, even though the hotel is old.
Service: My early morning flight arrived, and by the time I cleared customs and walked to the hotel, it was past 10 am. I couldn't check in yet, but I could store my luggage. The public restrooms in the lobby were also very clean and spacious. I used the restroom to change clothes, quickly freshened up and put on some makeup, then left my luggage and went out to take care of my business.
Other: The hotel is near the airport. If you're heading into the city or elsewhere by train, the closest Mascot train station is about a 15-minute walk. It's not super close, but for younger people, this walking distance is acceptable. There are restaurants and a supermarket near the train station.
Overall, it's quite convenient to stay here if you have an early morning flight or a short stopover.

LayingI stayed at this hotel a few years ago. I chose it because it's close to the airport, not far from the subway station, and offers a shuttle service, which, though paid, is still cheaper than taking the subway and saves you the hassle of lugging luggage around. Compared to my previous stay, the hotel facilities have been upgraded; all power outlets now include USB ports, which is very convenient for charging phones.
My reservation stated that airport pick-up was included. Upon arrival, I also booked the drop-off service. When checking out, the front desk staff didn't look closely and overcharged me for the pick-up service. After I pointed it out, they admitted the mistake and said they would refund the overcharged amount. However, I received a notification that my card was charged (because the initial deposit was insufficient). After contacting Trip.com, they helped resolve the issue. I thought the hotel would just refund the overcharged pick-up fee, but they ended up refunding both the pick-up and drop-off fees. I'm very satisfied with their service.

Anonymous UserWe had a really nice stay here. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, which was exactly what we needed after a long flight. We also appreciated that they let us check in a bit earlier, so we were able to rest right away.
Breakfast was good with enough options to choose from, and everything was fresh. The staff were friendly and easy to deal with, and the whole check-in and check-out process was smooth. The location is also very convenient if you’re staying near Sydney Airport.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again the next time we’re in Sydney. Highly recommended!

QingguanbuchixiangcaiIt's about a 15-minute walk from the domestic terminal, and the route isn't very easy to find. The airport shuttle costs extra. The soundproofing isn't great; even though Sydney Airport has a curfew, the hotel is next to a road, so you can still hear traffic noise at night.

猩猩C9 仔The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Mascot train station. I'd rather take the train to the Domestic Airport station, exit at T3, then take bus 350 (towards Bondi Junction) for two stops. Get off there and walk for 2 minutes.
The hotel is close to the airport, but there's no complimentary shuttle service, and it costs about AUD 12. If I didn't have heavy luggage, public transport would actually be much more convenient and cheaper.
The staff were friendly.
The room was generally clean and comfortable. The in-room Wi-Fi was decent, but the TV channels weren't appealing, and screen mirroring wasn't available.
Buffet breakfast, if paid separately, costs AUD 35.
What I appreciated most was the complimentary small carton of milk in the fridge.
