OonlinelilyExcellent hotel! The rooms are quite spacious, and come with a fridge, kitchen, and stove, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is super conveniently located; just a few minutes' walk to the right is the train station, bus station, a large supermarket, and various restaurants. It's easy to get anywhere from here. It's also very close to the airport, accessible by taxi or train. The cheapest option is the bus, which also goes there. It's incredibly convenient!

GGuest UserPerfect location on a quiet street. Lots of shops and eateries just 5 minutes walk up the road. Great view overlooking the airport from the huge balcony which i personally find relaxing. Great breakfast from restaurant and enjoyed the rooftop bar while gazing at the stars! This hotel is now our go to hotel whenever we are in Sydney. Would highly recommend staying here.

TTonglongOur stay here exceeded expectations. As a long-standing luxury hotel, it really has a wonderful ambiance. The hotel is in a prime downtown location, right next to Flinders Street Station, which makes it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and business trips. The room layout was well-designed, with excellent natural light, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The bathroom amenities were exquisite, showing great attention to detail.
The staff were all gentle and professional; checking in and all other services were effortless. The breakfast quality was high, with a rich variety of options, and the freshly prepared dishes tasted great. My only minor regret is that the building is a bit older, so the soundproofing isn't the best, and some rooms have average views. Considering the location, service, and facilities, it offers excellent value for money among hotels of its caliber in Melbourne. It's perfect for travelers seeking a tranquil and high-end experience.

AAnnie FurukawaI kindly asked if someone can help me bring my bags aince I was too exhausted and palpitating, the guy who's attending to me immediately said they are a polterless hotel. Fortunately the other bloke at reception kindly did it for me. I paid for shuttle service and guy is giving me a torn 20$ bill, I said I wont accept it. He then said thats the only one they have but I said, I don't care i still wont accept it. To cut it short, I just ordered a 20$ food and told him to use my change as payment. Also last year when I stayed at mantra, they did not take a security deposit, but this time they asked for 200$ security bond. I had a stomach ache the whole night, not sure if food or water. They dont even give out complimentary water and told me the water in the faucet is drinkable. I will not stay there again

GGuest UserThe room size was decent, but since it's near the airport, the soundproofing of the windows could definitely be improved. It's a reasonable distance to the city center, and there's plenty of public transport nearby. However, the hotel's airport shuttle bus only starts at 4:55 AM, so if you have an early flight, you'll need to take an Uber or taxi.
