"This is a small, privately-owned hotel. I checked the online reviews before booking, and my stay was… okay. The room wasn't very big, and for the same price, I could have chosen the Lavande Hotel across the street. The facilities were relatively new, but there was a smoky smell when I entered. There are two restaurants downstairs that are open quite late at night. Getting around by taxi from here usually costs about 8 yuan, which is the starting fare. There's basically no one overseeing guests entering or leaving the hotel. Outside, it's a free-for-all for parking. The hotel robot delivered takeout quite quickly, and the front desk staff were responsive. I still recommend choosing a chain hotel; they might be more convenient in all aspects. The food inside Enduli was pretty good, and Tao Xiaochuan had a great taste. Changbai Mountain is mostly just various legends, I guess. Renting clothes at the foot of the mountain is convenient and practical; you don't need to bring your own. Nearby hotels like Puyue are all clustered together; the town isn't big, so you can stay anywhere."

The Chinese Merganser Park is about a 1-kilometer walk away. "We have an enjoyable stay 4 night stay at the hotel. Our butler 小贺 was responsive to our needs and did his best to ensure that we are well taken care of. A special shout out to our 百度 driver 刘先生。He is friendly and informative. Went beyond his duties to assist us on our enquiries and even suggested options when our 1st choice is not available. He is definitely an asset to the hospitality industry. As for the hotel amenities, perhaps the management could consider installing a few more washing machines to cater guests when the hotel is serving at its full capacity. Like to thank the 阿姨 who cook our noodles at the canteen every morning during breakfast. She maintains professionalism even at the peak of the breakfast hours."

"The hotel is located right in the heart of the town, very close to the Genting Market and Endori attractions. A big thanks to the front desk lady for upgrading my room! The breakfast was sufficient, so no further comments there. The rooftop has a unique open-air hot tub (large wooden barrel) where you can enjoy the stars and feel the dew at night. Turning right from the hotel, you can take a very pleasant walk along the Erdaobai River."

The hotel is very close to the North Slope collection center, just a few minutes' drive away, so there's no rush to get to the mountain early in the morning. Wetland parks and deer parks are within walking distance, making leisure and dining incredibly convenient. It's also very close to the town's food street and market, making getting around hassle-free. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, allowing us to rest well after a tiring hike. The smart facilities were complete, the bathroom had a wet/dry separation, hot water was stable, and the humidifier helped with the dry climate of Changbai Mountain. The front desk service was warm and attentive, patiently explaining hiking注意事项 (precautions) and routes. The lobby thoughtfully provided fruit tea, and the self-service laundry and drying facilities were complete, making it easy to wash clothes during our trip. Breakfast offered a rich variety of nutritious options, ensuring we were full and energized for the mountain. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, with complete amenities and great value for money. "Well, what can I say? After staying at so many hotels over the years, this is the first time I've encountered a front desk that didn't answer the phone after several tries. The hotel offers airport/station pickup. The driver added me on WeChat and then kept aggressively recommending other tours and private car services, which I guess is understandable as they're trying to drum up business. However, our itinerary was already set. He then tried to push a private car to the North Slope, but unfortunately, we'd already bought our high-speed train tickets. Later, we found the hotel shuttle time for departure wasn't suitable, so we just took a taxi ourselves. Erdaobaihe town is lovely, and the Scaly-sided Merganser Park is great. The *dagaao* (sticky rice cake) sold by an old man outside the East Gate was the best we've had these past few days. But the hotel... I probably won't be coming back. Unless you don't care about service."
