Staff are super friendly and are willing to make you feel at home and be comfortable!
Facilities are good at a high standard and are provided everywhere in the same high standards.

"Had an overnight layover at Haikou returning to Sydney. The hotel staff were very professional and helpful, the room was clean and the price for the night was very reasonable, highly recommend.
With airport transfer it would be best to let staff know when your flight is and book the shuttle bus in advance as they only come around every hour.

Front desk was very helpful to carry the large and hand carry luggages up to my room located at second floor.
Bed is big, clean and comfortable. Room decorated with unique antique style. With the room price is reasonable especially located right inside the main tourist spot. Worth to stay and experience the heritage old buildings atmosphere.
Need to improve the maintenance and cleanliness of the surrounding especially the bathroom area due to humidity and mold spots, perhaps change the old carpets and install the lift or slopes so that easier for travelers to carry the luggage up to the room. Understand it’s costly for the maintenance of the heritage old buildings. Overall strongly recommended for tourists to experience the stay👍🌴"

"We had a pleasant stay in the family room, which was clean, spacious, and well-designed for families. It came with one queen-size bed and a super single bed (around 120cm wide), which comfortably accommodated two adults and two kids. The location is great—just a short walk to various shopping malls and eateries.
The hotel also provides a free laundry room with both washer and dryer. Drying a full load takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. We really appreciated the helpful front desk staff who assisted us by taking our clothes out of the dryer and keeping them safe at the counter until we returned.
Overall, the hotel is tidy, comfortable, and budget-friendly—definitely worth considering for a short family trip."

My family was also incredibly satisfied with the hotel choice for this trip; both the front desk staff and the restaurant service received high praise from them. We were especially delighted with our room. It offered a breathtaking panoramic view, allowing us to lie in bed and soak in the beautiful sights of Century Bridge, the expansive ocean, and Wanlu Park. The beauty and comfort were truly indescribable. What's more, the price was quite reasonable. Haha, we're extremely satisfied! I highly recommend everyone to visit and experience it for yourselves."

"A perfect score is a must! First, I must commend the front desk service; they were patient and attentive, and even upgraded our room for free. The room was impeccably clean; there wasn't a speck of dust on the floor even when barefoot. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, very neck-friendly, and I slept exceptionally comfortably. The shower had great water pressure, and the hot water came on quickly, washing away all our fatigue. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The bread and Hainanese noodles were particularly tasty, and the hotel was open until 10 am, which was still quite convenient. The fruit was fresh and sweet. Our flight was in the afternoon, and the hotel's latest airport shuttle service was at 2:50 pm. We asked the front desk at 4 pm if they still offered the shuttle, and they said they had a car available to take us directly to the airport. Their service was incredibly thoughtful, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I have a layover in Haikou! Highly recommended!"

The food was also served quickly. The staff's adaptability was impressive 👍; when we had last-minute additional guests, they promptly helped us with extra chairs and dishes, ensuring the dinner went smoothly. Thumbs up!

First and foremost, the location of the hotel is fantastic. Situated close to various amenities, I found myself just a short walk away from restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Whether I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat or explore the city's vibrant culture, everything was easily accessible. This convenience truly enhanced my overall experience, making it effortless to immerse myself in the local atmosphere.
One of the standout features of the hotel was its friendly and English-speaking staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff who were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They provided me with detailed information about the hotel facilities, nearby attractions, and even recommended some must-visit places in Haikou. Throughout my stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, making me feel valued as a guest.
The rooms at the Hampton by Hilton were modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. My room was meticulously clean, with comfortable bedding and a well-appointed bathroom. The inclusion of amenities such as a flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a coffee maker added an extra layer of convenience and comfort to my stay. QquanzzI booked three rooms and stayed at Mission Hills Resort for five nights, where we were served by the duty manager, Mary, throughout our stay.
We were given a complimentary room upgrade, and Mary also helped ensure that our group was located near each other, making it much more convenient for us. I’m especially for her effort in helping us locate a farm around the resort and for reaching out proactively before the trip. She even shared her contacts and responded to some of my queries after office hours, which truly shows her dedication to her work.
Although some parts of the resort are a bit dated and seemed to be undergoing maintenance, it didn’t really affect the overall experience. For the rooms It would be even better if a drawdown curtain or privacy screen could be added to the bathing area or toilet, making it more convenient for larger groups like mine.
This resort is ideal for families with young kids or anyone looking for a great parent–child bonding (亲子游) experience. There’s a mini pet house with cute and lively animals where children can get up close and cozy with them.
The Children’s Club — Squirrel Village offers a wide variety of daily activities for parent–child bonding. My kids especially enjoyed the activities led by the young and energetic team of hosts (可爱, 葡萄, 糖果, 西瓜, 猩猩, 鳄鱼, and others). They loved it so much that I gave up some of our original itinerary just to let them stay longer, and they’re still humming and reminiscing about the songs and moments from the club. If I travel to Haikou again, I would certainly return to Mission Hills and include a few more days at the Squirrel Club to spend quality time with my child.
As mentioned in other reviews, we were also served a delicious pot of dessert every night — a thoughtful and warm gesture that added an extra special touch to our stay.

If i am ever travelling back to Hai Kou for 亲子游, I would stay in Mission Hills purely for the Squirrel Children’s Club activities.
Ps, the resort actually had some additional in-room items that could be loaned and i feel that it would be better if they could share ongoing promotions.

YYou_maThis hotel is truly a hidden gem, absolutely flawless from every detail to the overall experience! The location is superb. Whether you're rushing to the airport or train station, or planning to explore nearby shopping areas and attractions, everything is easily accessible by foot or a short drive. Getting around couldn't be more convenient!
The room cleanliness was a delightful surprise. The bedding was crisp white and so soft, like sinking into clouds. The floors were polished to a shine, making it comfortable to walk barefoot. The bathroom was spotless, free of any odors or stains, with even the corners and crevices perfectly cleaned. It made for an incredibly comfortable and pleasant stay.
The service was equally impeccable. The staff were always welcoming with smiles and incredibly prompt in responding to any needs. Any questions or requests were handled quickly and efficiently. The airport shuttle service was super reliable; the driver waited for us in advance, proactively helped with luggage, and the ride was smooth and comfortable. Absolutely stress-free!
The laundry service was also fantastic. The machines were clean and easy to use, and our dried clothes came back with a delicate fresh scent – even better than doing laundry at home! For breakfast, the coffee was rich and aromatic, and the toast was perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, ideal with jam or butter. Starting each day with such a delightful breakfast truly energized me for the whole day.
From the prime location to every single service, it's clear that a lot of thought and care went into everything. I was absolutely thrilled with my stay and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

GGuest UserThe hotel lobby was instantly recognizable as a modern, Southeast Asian style, completely transforming my impression of traditional Hainan hotels. The perfectly scented aroma completely dispelled travel fatigue. The room was warmly decorated and clean, and the pillows were especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for someone prone to insomnia. The restaurant on the fourth floor served Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine, and I particularly enjoyed the Hainanese-style salted lemon tea, which was tart and sweet with a hint of salt. My stay at the Mu Nan Hotel has made me want to visit Hainan again. It's a shame I forgot to take photos, but I'll make up for it next time.

GGuest UserWhenever I visit Haikou, this is pretty much my go-to hotel, and it's truly fantastic. It's a villa-style property, with each unit boasting its own private courtyard. These courtyards are equipped with swings and rocking horses, perfect for kids to play on, and there are also lovely areas for a leisurely stroll. The surroundings are very peaceful, and crucially, it's conveniently located close to both the high-speed rail station and Wuyue Plaza.
The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning cools down super fast. They even have a projector with a large screen, making movie nights incredibly enjoyable. What's more, they include a streaming membership, so you have access to a vast selection of films – it really adds to the comfort and relaxation.
The hotel has its own private parking lot behind the building. This means you never have to stress about finding a parking spot, even if you return late at night – a definite bonus!

GGudaoxiaoyuwengThe room was spotlessly clean, tidy, and comfortable, refreshingly free of the damp, musty smell often found in traditional business hotels in Hainan – a definite plus!
What's more, I booked a hotel apartment room this time, and both its spaciousness and the comprehensive amenities provided were a pleasant surprise.
Service: The service truly lived up to Hilton's high standards. The staff were attentive, thorough, and incredibly thoughtful.
Finally, for the areas that could be improved: Given that the hotel was built in 2016, I think the entertainment facilities, among other things, are due for an upgrade. Specifically, the in-room audio-visual equipment didn't support screen mirroring, preventing me from watching my preferred content. It also felt outdated and had some screen distortion. Additionally, the hairdryer wasn't very powerful.
Regarding the breakfast buffet, I personally felt that its variety and taste didn't quite measure up to what I've experienced at similarly-rated Hilton hotels inland. I hope the hotel can make improvements in this area to further enhance the guest experience.

MM7517****I was so lucky to stay in this B&B on this trip! The sea is just outside the B&B, the beach is soft and fine, and the sea water is crystal clear. Every shot is a blockbuster. The room is carefully decorated, warm and exquisite, and the hygiene is spotless, which makes it very comfortable to live in. There is also a free swimming pool downstairs, where you can swim freely at any time. The boss and his family are very enthusiastic and answer all questions. I feel safe and happy living here, and the cost-effectiveness is super high. I strongly recommend it to everyone! I will stay here again next time!

GGuest UserEverything else is good, but the room facilities are too simple! It's ok that there is no refrigerator or cooker. There is not even a washing machine. What's more embarrassing is that there is no place to hang the clothes after washing!
Double hot spring: It's real, but I didn't have time to experience it, which is a pity!

GGuest UserBecause we had to take the ferry, we found a place to stay near the ferry. When we booked it, we had the mentality of giving it a try. After we checked in, it was beyond our expectations. The sanitation was very clean, which was cleaner than the B&Bs we stayed in before. It was a loft design. I also liked this kind of small apartment. There was a cloakroom and everything you need. The most important thing is that it is truly pet-friendly! There is no charge. It is much better than some stores that say they are pet-friendly but are unwilling to accept dogs when you call to ask. I will continue to stay here next time I come to Hainan.
