The room was spacious and bright, with convenient smart devices, soft bedding, and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making check-in very quick. The breakfast was plentiful, and there's a free laundry room and gym, which is great for business travelers. Overall, it's clean, hygienic, and offers great value for money – a top choice at this price point. I'll definitely come back next time!

It's commendable that they can maintain Ascott's service standards in such a desolate environment.
Two things that left a deep impression:
1. The front desk proactively packed breakfast for me as I had an early departure the next day.
2. The spa staff were waiting for me an hour in advance.
One area for improvement:
1. Upon check-in, the front desk could proactively share information about the cultural center's activities with guests.
Xiao Liang and Xiao Su provided excellent service, making both check-in and check-out smooth.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and the environment was excellent. It's impressive that an older hotel can maintain such cleanliness and tidiness; truly befitting a star-rated establishment. The hygiene inside was also very good. The hotel breakfast was rich and varied. Front desk staff LindaShela and MavisShela were very helpful and answered all our questions. Kevin Huang expertly handled our luggage arrangements, and the doorman always opened the door for us and assisted with our bags every time we left. The surroundings were very quiet, and the hot springs were comfortable. The pool was also large, though it was a bit too cold to swim in after the hot springs. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance.

I'm quite sensitive to smells. I'm not sure if the room has been treated for smoke, but it was fine with the balcony door open. However, when the door was closed and the air conditioning was on, there was a smoky smell, which means the scent has been absorbed into the air conditioner. Unless the AC unit is cleaned and disinfected, it won't be completely smoke-free.
The room had a bathtub and bath salts. The shower area was open-plan, which was convenient for bathing children, but water tended to splash everywhere.
The hotel is relatively close to the airport, making it a good stopover for our last night in Hainan. It's supposedly near a golf course, but unfortunately, we couldn't see it from our room. The balcony view is as shown in the picture.
There's a shopping mall right next door, so dining options were not an issue.
We tried the hotel's buffet dinner; it wasn't crowded, and the desserts were quite good. The hotel breakfast was impressive, and even though it was busy during the Chinese New Year, everything was well-organized.

GGuest UserThe experience was pretty good! They have a kids' water play area, and the hot springs zone is quite large and impressive. We really enjoyed doing handicrafts at Squirrel Tribe these past two days, and there's also a little train. Teacher Candy made a great impression on the kids too! I heard they change up the activities, but we'll be leaving in April. Hopefully, we'll get another chance to visit. Haha!

The bathroom with its double vanity and deep soaking tub was super relaxing. The Asprey amenities and the turndown service were delightful touches. Breakfast was abundant and featured local Hainanese specialties. The service was attentive and thoughtful; the concierge was proactive in assisting, and our butler was always available when needed. Overall, it felt luxurious and warm, truly enhancing the vacation experience. Nancy's service was particularly meticulous and proactive, providing guests with an excellent experience.

She proactively helped us plan our itinerary and patiently responded to our needs late into the night. The room offered a stunning sea view, the bedding was comfortable, and the food was authentic. The Haikou Marriott Hotel is definitely a five-star establishment. It's conveniently located next to the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, which provides a steady stream of guests through various annual exhibitions. The hotel's decor is a sophisticated and tasteful 'New Chinese' style.

The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable – even the corners were spotless, which made us feel incredibly comfortable. The moment we opened the window, we were greeted by a breathtaking blue ocean view. The expansive scenery and gentle sea breeze instantly washed away our travel fatigue. The hotel's environment is also superb; both the greenery and public areas are meticulously maintained, making for excellent photo opportunities.
The service was outstanding, from check-in to check-out. The staff were all warm, professional, and incredibly responsive to our requests, even offering thoughtful suggestions. The facilities are also top-notch, with a great gym and swimming pool that perfectly met our leisure needs.
Overall, the experience far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're gathering with friends or enjoying a relaxing vacation, this is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Haikou! 👍
