"I had a wonderful stay here in Heishui. The owner warmly welcomed us upon arrival and was incredibly kind and attentive. He even helped carry our luggage to the room, which made us feel very well taken care of. The room was clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The dinner food was also delicious. I highly recommend ordering the tomato and scrambled eggs dish, it was especially tasty! Overall, a very warm and pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel's location is decent, not too far from the town center on foot. There aren't many restaurants around, but there's a ******* restaurant downstairs. The staff were very welcoming and proactively helped with luggage since there's no elevator. However, if you're checking out early in the morning, you'll have to carry your own bags down, which is a minor drawback. The room itself was pretty standard, with all the necessary amenities. Since it was winter, there weren't many tourists, and it wasn't noisy at night despite being on the street. I'm not sure if it gets loud during peak season. The exterior doesn't look like much, but the interior decor is quite modern. The bedding was relatively clean, though some of the sheets were torn – they should pay more attention to details. Overall, the value for money is still good, and I recommend staying here."

"Before coming, I looked at several guesthouses in Heishui County and finally chose this one. Both the environment and service were great! It's very close to the scenic area, and the owner arranged for someone to pick us up and drop us off. We loved the style of our room—it was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. The air conditioning was adjustable and provided warmth, so we didn't feel cold at night! It was super cozy! It's a whole guesthouse with its own courtyard, and the owner was very welcoming—they even helped us with our luggage! So thoughtful! I'd definitely book this guesthouse again next time I come back. "This is a brand new hotel that has everything. You can easily walk to the food district, and there's a large convenience store right at the entrance of the alley. The room is spacious, and the bathroom has separate toilet and shower areas. We arrived late at night, and she had already turned on the electric blanket and air conditioning in our room, so it was nice and warm when we got in around 1:30 AM. In the morning, despite being pregnant, she even made us breakfast. Truly a very considerate and highly recommended place!"

"We stayed at the Heishui and Siguniang Mountain resorts for three days and absolutely loved the butler service at Gar Manor! From the moment we got off the bus, we were completely taken care of. The butler eagerly carried our luggage and checked us in, making it incredibly easy. The breakfast was plentiful, with a mix of whole grains and protein. The warm black pig's trotters and stir-fried pork in the evening were a thoughtful touch. The most touching thing was that the butler even brought us an umbrella on a rainy day, holding it for us along the way and providing hot tea. These little touches are truly heartwarming! The mountain-view loft we stayed in at Siguniang Mountain had a fantastic view, with both floors offering views of the lake and mountains. On a clear day, the lake sparkled like diamonds, while on a rainy day, the misty clouds shrouded the place like a fairyland. It truly soothed me here and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Siguniang Mountain!"

When I booked this room, I felt very lucky because the room was clean and the owner took good care of it. We were very hungry, so the hotel found a dinner restaurant for you. "Hygiene: Very clean, and they even provide disinfectant alcohol (Picture 3), which is great for germaphobes! The tissues are also from C&S. Environment: There are many guesthouses nearby, all run by locals, offering a very authentic local experience. Facilities: We drove here. If you need to charge your car, you can do so at a fish restaurant next door. You can also cast movies from your phone to the TV in the room. Service: You can book tickets for Dagu Glacier through the host, which is slightly cheaper than booking yourself. They also prepare their own breakfast, which includes butter tea and is quite unique. If you're looking for places to eat, I recommend the Hade Plaza in Heishui County, as there are more options there. We tried a ******* restaurant called Xiangnage, and the food was pretty good."

The hotel is nicely decorated and clean. We loved the big windows and view. Beds are comfortable and the owners are nice. It's located up a hill, and they don't have a restaurant, so if you don't have a car and want to eat dinner, it's difficult to walk back up. I booked this hotel because they have a room with a big hot tub. But it was a big disappointment. The water source for this tub is a kitchen type faucet, which does not work for a big tub. It took hours just to fill one-fourth of it, and water coming out was not hot enough. And even if it were hot enough, the hours that it will take to fill the tub would eventually make the water cold. It was too late that we realized this so we ended up not using it. There were a lot of things wrong with this tub. When you want to soak in a hot tub, it would only take a few minutes before the water turns cold, so you would want to drain some water, and refill with hot water several times. But clearly with the type of faucet they put there, that was impossible. Another thing, when we were eating our breakfast, the owner was smoking in the next table.

This hotel was amazing! It feels like a newly opened hotel, but everything is very well-equipped and thoughtfully prepared. The hotel restaurant serves Hunan-style hot pot for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious. There were also many Thai guests staying here. The rooms do not have air conditioning, but it wasn’t a problem at all because the weather is cool throughout the year. I accidentally left some belongings at the hotel, and the staff kindly helped coordinate the return shipment. The service was excellent in every aspect. I was truly impressed with this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the

The room was big, clean, and beautiful with everything we needed. Everything felt modern, convenient, and easy to use. The owner, her kids, and the staff were amazing. They helped us so much even though we don’t speak Chinese and always booked Ubers for us. Her kids were super cute and friendly and tried to play with us. The staff’s service was excellent. Even after breakfast hours they made sure we had something to eat. They replied to messages quickly and were always there whenever we needed help. They even helped us find train tickets. Staying here was completely worth it. I can’t say enough how much I loved it.

I highly recommend the Heishui Yunhu Boutique B&B! The floor-to-ceiling glass design provides excellent natural light, and the views outside the window are picturesque. The facilities are modern and thoughtfully designed, exuding a high-end feel. The cleanliness is impeccable; it's the tidiest B&B I've ever stayed in. The butler service is meticulous and heartwarming. As a 'Golden Panda Certified B&B,' the public spaces are incredibly rich, with a café, book bar, and photography studio that are both relaxing and engaging. The hundred-year-old walnut tree within adds so much character. It's only 6km from Dagu Glacier, a few minutes' drive, and about 10-odd kilometers to San'ao Snow Mountain. The owner can also help purchase discounted scenic area tickets. Life in the county is convenient, making it perfectly suited for both self-driving tours and leisurely trips. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic!

The room is very spacious, clean, and comfy. This is the only hotel I found during my entire trip that has a bidet. The thing I appreciate the most is the service. The staff there were extremely welcoming and warm; they even offered us fruits and candies. When the kettle had a problem, they delivered a new one along with a bunch of water bottles without us even asking for it. I truly appreciate everything about this hotel. When I left my belongings behind, they immediately contacted me through WeChat and offered to send my items via SF Express. Even until the very end, they continued to provide 100% service. I’ve never written such a long review before, but this time I felt it was totally worth it. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel if I visit 黑水 again.

This is my first review, and it's completely honest. This is the best hotel I've stayed at during my travels here. The front desk lady was incredibly enthusiastic; whenever I had a problem, I liked to go to her, and she always helped. It was a very satisfying stay. The lobby is spacious, the environment is great, the front desk service is excellent, and check-in was fast. The room facilities are complete, the bed is very comfortable, and the room has smart controls. They even offered a free late check-out, which was really nice. It's a fantastic hotel. They also gave a free bottle of mineral water upon check-in. The room is spacious, well-lit, bright, and fully equipped. The front desk service is exceptional, and breakfast is also great. There's free parking, and it's very convenient for getting around. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and cozy room with Japanese-style decorations. I especially love the heated bed topper. The hotel staff, which we think is also the owner, is really nice and friendly. It is a little far from Heishui downtown, but there was nothing to do in town at night anyway, so no issue there. Having said that the hotel is not close to Heishui city, the staff offered to bring us dinner, so eating was not an issue. The hotel is located close to Dagu Glacier with around 5-min taxi ride. Highly recommended

This place is a one of a kind stay, if you've never been to China, this stay will put you in awe. This stay is more if a homestay owned by families. Rich with ******* heritage and hospitality. We were quite surprised that they said to just go upstairs and choose any room we liked 🤣. We really enjoyed our stay although the amenities were quite lacking but just enough. At night we were asking the owner if there is any nearby convenience store to buy some snacks but all stores were closed at the time. But the very kind uncle (owner) invited us to walk with him to his friend's store in the village. The store was closed but he called his friend to open the shop just for us ♥️. Overall a once in a lifetime memorable experience. 👍

The room was clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. The underfloor heating in the room kept it nice and warm, and there was plenty of space. Parking was convenient, and downstairs there were restaurants with fresh ingredients, delicious food, and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back again.

After visiting Dagu Glacier with friends, I opened Ctrip and saw this Gar Manor B&B. It is close to the scenic area, but the road up the mountain is a bit tortuous, a winding mountain road. Fortunately, the road surface is all asphalt and relatively spacious, not as difficult to drive as imagined. Although it is the rainy season these days, I didn’t expect the clouds in the mountains to be very beautiful, so it was not a wasted trip. The hygiene in the hotel can be said to be very attentive, and even those who are a little bit obsessed with cleanliness can be satisfied. Then the most impressive thing is the service of the housekeepers. They were very proactive in receiving us, and even their enthusiasm made us a little embarrassed. I heard that Heishui will be more beautiful in the golden autumn season, and I will come here to stay and experience it then.
