This self-driving trip to Dagu Glacier in Western Sichuan was made even better by our stay at Heishui Jiruo Mountain Villa – the most worry-free and comfortable accommodation of the entire trip! The villa boasts an excellent location, only about 1 kilometer from the Dagu Glacier scenic area. The owner even provides free shuttle service, saving you from early morning rushes, which is incredibly convenient for glacier visitors. Located next to the Qicai Jiazu ******* Village, the environment is quiet and beautiful, with a strong ******* style. The courtyard is clean and tidy, the air is fresh, and you can see the starry sky and mountain views at dawn and dusk – a truly immersive experience. Parking is super convenient, with a free, spacious parking lot and charging stations, making electric vehicle travel hassle-free. The rooms are spacious, clean, and odor-free. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the mattress is just the right firmness – a good night's sleep relieves the fatigue of the drive. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, plenty of hot water, and complete toiletries. The cleaning is meticulous, with every corner spotless. The rooms have good natural light, great views, and good soundproofing, making them exceptionally quiet at night, ensuring a high quality of rest. The accommodation combines the unique charm of the Jiarong ******* culture with the comforts of modern accommodations, making for a safe and pleasant stay. The owners and their family are warm and welcoming, providing exceptionally attentive service. Check-in is efficient, they proactively help with luggage, and patiently explain travel tips for Dagu Glacier, altitude sickness precautions, and even help you buy discounted park tickets. Any problems are resolved promptly, making you feel like family. The dining experience is a pleasant surprise! The yak hot pot and Tibetan-style earthenware hot pot are generously portioned, incredibly delicious, and made with fresh ingredients, offering authentic local flavors. The butter tea and homemade yogurt are also fantastic. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty, with excellent ******* flatbread, porridge, and pickled vegetables – a satisfying and hearty meal. It's conveniently located near attractions like Naizigou and Qicaijiazu, making travel easy. Overall, the location is excellent, the service is warm, the rooms are clean, the food is delicious, and parking is convenient, making it incredibly cost-effective. It's perfect for family trips, groups of friends, or photography tours. Staying here at Dagu Glacier is definitely a great choice, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Heishui. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Western Sichuan!

The location was nice, it was easy to find and there were many restaurants nearby. We booked for 3 rooms with twin bed, once arrived the hotel, the receptionist greeted us with Thai word “Sawasdee krab” that was so kind and touched our mind. He provided us more information with Thai translation and made us more understanding. The room was clean, big size high ceiling and well prepared. There was electricity blankets provided so we all slept well and charged the energy for the next day. It was nice to have a chance to stay in this lovely hotel!!!

Traveling solo to Dagu Glacier, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and even invited me to try some yak jerky. The room was exceptionally clean, and after I booked, they had already turned on the air conditioning and floor heating, making it super cozy. I drive an electric car, and there's a charging station less than 20 meters from the entrance, which is incredibly convenient for long-distance electric vehicle trips.

This place is a one of a kind stay, if you've never been to China, this stay will put you in awe. This stay is more if a homestay owned by families. Rich with ******* heritage and hospitality. We were quite surprised that they said to just go upstairs and choose any room we liked 🤣. We really enjoyed our stay although the amenities were quite lacking but just enough. At night we were asking the owner if there is any nearby convenience store to buy some snacks but all stores were closed at the time. But the very kind uncle (owner) invited us to walk with him to his friend's store in the village. The store was closed but he called his friend to open the shop just for us ♥️. Overall a once in a lifetime memorable experience. 👍

Good location hotel is sited between city center and Dagu glacier main gate. Room is large, clean and new with automatic lights, curtains, toilet and wireless chargers. Reasonable low price.

The room was clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. The underfloor heating in the room kept it nice and warm, and there was plenty of space. Parking was convenient, and downstairs there were restaurants with fresh ingredients, delicious food, and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back again.

Although it was a random choice, I didn't expect it to exceed my expectations. The newly opened hotel, the environment is very clean, the scenery is good, the key boss is very warm and friendly, and the cooking is delicious! There is also a cute kitten from the boss. Very recommended! ! ! The real evaluation is deceiving, I am 🐷

The hotel is decent, and there's a restaurant downstairs. However, it's about 1-2 km outside the city, so you'll need to take a taxi to reach convenience stores and restaurants. A taxi from the hotel to the city's taxi stand costs 15 yuan, which isn't too expensive. It's 30 yuan from the hotel to Dagu and 30 yuan from the hotel to Hesui Bus Station (though you can bargain it down to 20 yuan). Overall, the hotel is fine, just a bit far from places to eat. Make sure to get a taxi driver who knows the hotel; the prices mentioned above are standard.

The hotel was new, high-technology and the bed was good however it was not a comfortable stay. Light in front of the bathroom is sensor light so it was constantly on and off when you moving on the bed. Hotel doesn’t use real towel so you have to use the bath robe instead and it is smell of smoke. The hotel was overbooked so they decided to downgrade one of my room saying that I booked lower than the standard rate and my room should be downgraded. That’s made there are no spaces to open the luggage. The owner does not understand the fact that guest should get the room type that they booked no matter the price they paid.
