"This is definitely my favorite hotel in Hakodate! The hotel is stylish, modern, and feels brand new. We stayed in the tatami room, which was incredibly comfortable for our family of five. The room was spacious and even had a dining area, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious Japanese and Western dishes to choose from. The onsen was another highlight of our stay—clean, relaxing, and definitely a must-try! Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. If we're lucky enough to visit Hakodate again, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for families!"

"There are 5 beds, perfect for a family. We could spread out our luggage, and the location was generally walkable, which was nice. The only downside was that the toilet and shower were combined and quite small. I've stayed in many hotels and guesthouses in Japan, and this bathroom was definitely on the smaller side. Location: It's right opposite Hakodate Station, which is excellent. Bus stops 11 and 12 in front of the station are for the shuttle to Hakodate Airport. Our room also faced Hakodate Station, which was a great view. Service: You can choose daily housekeeping or opt out. If you skip housekeeping, you can get fresh water at the front desk. However, we chose to have our room cleaned and beds made. On the first floor, there's a laundry room and self-service luggage storage. There's also a microwave on each floor right outside the elevator."

"Parking is easy to access and there are still plenty of car parks even if you arrive later in the evening, which we did. Lobby area provides free flow welcome drinks from the soda machine, which is quite a pleasant surprise. The room layout that we had was very odd, not something we would have picked if we had known. The queen sized bed was placed in the middle of the room, facing the windows. Behind the bed post was a small area with arm chairs and an additional TV. The design intention probably was to create a lounging area away from the sleeping area but it’s a neither here nor there kind of space. The pillows provided were very small, more suitable for children than adults. I have attached a photo of the pillows. It’s the most uncomfortable pillows we ever had throughout our travel in Japan."

"The hotel's location is quite good, close to both Hakodate Station and the airport. You can walk to the station, and a taxi to the airport isn't overly expensive. However, I'm not sure why all the hotels were fully booked in early May. I stayed for two days but had to book different room types. The front desk surprisingly said they couldn't arrange for me to stay in the same room. This meant checking out at 11 AM the day before, leaving my luggage at the front desk, going out for four hours, and then returning to the hotel at 3 PM to check in again, which was quite inconvenient. The facilities are a bit old, and there was a damp smell in the hallway. However, the toiletries were all Pola, which was a pleasant surprise. But the hotel didn't offer complimentary bottled water, so I had to buy it from a convenience store or vending machine outside."

"Pros: 1. Unbeatable Location: Extremely convenient! Just a 1-minute walk from JR Hakodate Station and 1 minute to the Hakodate Morning Market. 2. Compact yet Functional Room: Although the room is on the smaller side (16 sqm), the layout is very well-designed, so it didn't feel cramped at all. 3. Smooth Service: Fast and hassle-free check-in and check-out process. We opted for a 2-hour late check-out for an additional 2,000 JPY, which was totally worth it. Cons: Elevator Congestion: The only real downside during our stay was the heavy elevator congestion during morning peak hours (08:30–10:30). If you are heading out during this time, make sure to budget a little extra waiting time!"

"- microwave and washing machine in the room(recommended to buy Hakodate milk and heat it up using microwave, make your own milktea using free tea bag from hotel) - great location, right beside hakodate morning market - there is a Hot spring bath with sea view - free coffee and a comfortable lounge with sea view - unpleasant check-in experience, one of the staff is impatient - No bottled water provided in the room. Check-in experience was a bit unpleasant when we arrived earlier (we knew we were early and weren’t requesting for early check-in). One of the male staff was quite unfriendly and kept repeating “no early check-in” when we were just asking whether we could store our luggage before check-in. He seemed quite impatient throughout. However, the rest of the staff were good, and even lent us a knife and cutting board to cut the melon we bought. Location is great, right beside the morning market, and only about a 7-minute walk to the JR station. We came during spring so the walk was totally fine."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations! The transportation is incredibly convenient; there's a bus terminal right downstairs, making it easy to go anywhere. I initially planned to take taxis in Hakodate, but Google Maps showed that all the buses I needed were right there, super clear and easy to navigate. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel's large public bath is great – we didn't soak, just used the shower area, and the water pressure was fantastic and refreshing. If you go after 10:30 PM or so, it's not crowded, and having a small popsicle after showering was a nice touch. The hotel breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, but those who enjoy sashimi would probably like it. The Lawson convenience store downstairs is also quite large."

"This was my first time traveling to Hakodate, and I think I picked a great hotel for my first impression of the city. The staff are always welcoming and greet guests in the lobby. The rooms are larger than those in many other hotels in Japan, and they are very comfortable. From my room, I had a nice view of JR Hakodate Station, which was a great bonus. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is only a one-minute walk from the hotel to JR Hakodate Station, making it very convenient for travelers who want to visit other places in Hokkaido. Also, there is a underground parking lot under the hotel. The parking fee is only 1,000 yen per day, which is very affordable. "The view is absolutely unbeatable! I stayed in the annex last time, and while the main building is a bit dated, the incredible scenery makes up for everything. The room size was just right, and the cleanliness was acceptable. Breakfast was definitely plentiful and delicious, better than the annex in my opinion, but in other aspects, the annex was superior. The front desk staff were quite good, but the other staff were just so-so, treating both Japanese and foreigners with the same rather indifferent attitude. Also, there's no private onsen (hot spring bath). Checkout was super easy and self-service."

I stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay very comfortable from check-in to check-out. The location is excellent, only about a 3-minute walk from the tram station, which makes getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants nearby, so finding food is never a problem. The room was clean and well maintained, and the onsen was very nice and relaxing after a long day. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It did what it had to do. A bed to sleep in, a bath to bathe in, hot water during the season, very clean and good disposable amenities to use. For the cost of the stay, its worth it. However its pretty much away from convenience for people who wants to walk around town after going to the area to take your photos. Its a pretty dry part around the hotel except for the Tax free shop which was amazing. Further up nearer to Hakodate station is where majority of the Izakaya and food shops can be located after 6pm

Perfect 😍 This Hakodate stay was absolutely top-notch! The hotel is brand new, with stylish and refreshing facilities. The hot spring was incredibly comfortable, as were the bedding and the pajamas – both 10/10 for comfort. Plus, the hotel's free shuttle bus to attractions was fantastic. Overall satisfaction is through the roof!

I'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!

The hotel is a bit far from Hakodate Station and the main city attractions, but the room was quite clean and the price was very reasonable. I accidentally lost my key card and had to pay a 2000 yen replacement fee, but overall it was a good stay.

Excellent view of Pacific Ocean if the room is booked in premium tower ! Spacious and clean rooms with hot spring facilities in the hotel. Haven’t tried breakfast in the hotel. However seven eleven kind of shops are available close by. Lots of local seafood restaurants towards the Hakodate station which is just 800 m away, can reach by walk. All the major attractions are nearby and my personal favourite is the tram network and a very closer station matsukaze-cho ! Morning market and mt Hakodate ropeway station, small children’s park everything is connected by tram stations. Beach is just 600 m from the hotel with lots of seagulls and hazy Mountain View of Oma island overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Must visit place and highly recommended stay would rate as 9.8/10 ! Have a pleasant and relaxed stay here ☺️

On the last day of my trip, I wanted to experience one of the top 100 hot spring hotels. Upon entering, staff knelt to greet me, and I was offered homemade matcha and cookies. The hotel had a rustic charm. Entering the room, I was immediately struck by its cleanliness and spaciousness. In the morning, I could see the sea and seagulls; sitting and sipping tea while daydreaming was incredibly relaxing.

The staff at the inn were warm and moderate, and I was very comfortable. While there were many non-smoking rooms, the companion who was a smoker was very happy.
