Tomakomai Hotels with Wifi

"Our apologies for the very honest feedback as we felt that we did not get a clear picture of what we were booking which caused us to be pretty upset and shocked. We wanted a hotel near Chitose Airport as we have a morning flight the day after, and chose Koko as it is a chain of hotel, while the service by the team is really top notch, she spoke English, the amenities were there but we really could not accept the hotel room itself as it was not what we expected from the description, price point & photos. We are really thankful for the lady at the front desk who was nothing but helpful even thou we put in a request to modify our booking as the room was not what we expected and we could not feel comfortable or rest and decided to end the booking early. Pros - Location is great with lots of food around, close to Chitose airport Cons - Parking was at the building opposite and made of scaffoldings and was pretty run down, did not have a lift and our luggage’s were too heavy, we had to pull it down the slope meant for car and the carpark was creepy. The room was really, really run down, corners were dirty & there was a consistent ringing / beeping sound that sounded like alarm, the kind front lady helped to check and said it was caused by the fridge but it was really disturbing and we could not rest the entire night. Especially one of the door hinge seems to be damaged and is replaced by tapes instead. The bedsheets had stains that looked like blood? And the male guest was walking around in gown scrubs which made us feel really disturbed. We felt that this was more of a 1* hotel rather than 3* as shown on Trip when booking, as the pricing was similar to our 3* hotel at Sapporo but the difference was shocking. Sound proofing is absent too, there were people talking, walking outside that we can hear clearly. Photos showed 3 beds in a row which we felt the space would be suitable but didn’t know it could be of a different layout and when we entered we were really shocked. There is no space to open luggage except on the bed itself. To be honest, the service was great but if you’re there for a holiday, it is really not recommended because it is really hard to rest there properly. But if you’re just there for a couple of hours or to stop by before airport then you may consider."

"The room is relatively large among Japanese hotels, and it is spacious for a single person. You can see the Prince Paper Mill in Tomakomai from the window. Facilities: There is an ice machine. There are other shops in the hotel, but I didn't visit them so I can't comment. Hygiene: Very clean. Service: Luggage storage is available. I didn't tell you that there is a time limit. You can take the express bus to Sapporo after the tour (1580 yen)."

"The front desk staff were very friendly and greeted us with a smile. Amenities were placed behind the front desk, and guests were free to take whatever they needed, which I personally thought was a great system. There are also convenience stores, izakayas, and restaurants near the hotel, so it's perfect. The room was also well-cleaned, making for a comfortable stay."

"The hotel is located not far from food street, not too challenging to search for food. There hotel comes with free parking. JR station located right in front of the hotel, 2 mins walk."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Dormy Inn Hotel. One of the highlights has to be all the little complimentary treats – free ramen for guests before 11pm, a coffee machine in the lobby, ice cream if you use the onsen before 1am, and probiotic drink in the morning onsen before 10am. All these small touches really made our stay feel special. The onsen itself was great, especially the outdoor bath on the rooftop where you can soak while looking up at the night sky – such a relaxing experience. Only downside was the parking. It seems there aren’t enough spaces for all guests, and the lot right beside the hotel is actually reserved for staff. We ended up using the paid parking nearby, but since Tomakomai is a small town, it was only about 600 yen for 24 hours – not too bad in the end. Overall, a comfortable stay with thoughtful perks and a lovely onsen. Would happily come back!"

"The facilities and environment were great, but the service staff were inconsistent in their standards, which made me feel uncomfortable. Sometimes, when something went wrong, they would only apologize but couldn't make any other decisions."

"It's a little far from the station, but there are several old-fashioned restaurants nearby, so we were able to walk there for meals and drinks. The clean public bath was larger than I expected, and I really enjoyed my bath. The front desk staff were very helpful. They were wearing a ”trainee” badge, but if they hadn't, I wouldn't have noticed them at all."

"Hotel Staff are friendly. The hotel is situated in a quiet area. The room is very small, a typical Japanese budget hotel. The breakfast is not bad. Overall you pay for what you get."

"Even though the facilities are basic, the front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and had an excellent attitude. They went out of their way to help us with parking, translating and communicating, which was really heartwarming. The tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) at breakfast was delicious too!"
