The villa-style hotel is located on the mountain. The room has its own swimming pool. The overall environment of the hotel is great! Especially the dinner in the restaurant is highly recommended, with 9 local Sri Lankan food, equipped with a dedicated chef and music performance, and the price is a little expensive.

Sometimes you really shouldn’t book a hotel that doesn’t have much information. Don’t think you’ve found a treasure hotel... This country is really tolerant, but... the actual check-in and The room types I booked were all different (I booked a more expensive room type, but ended up getting a basic room). What's disappointing is the hotel's service attitude... First they admitted that I had booked another room type, and then they said that this was the only one left. When I insisted on getting the room type that I booked, otherwise they negotiated with the agent and refunded me the price difference. He immediately said that this is the room I booked...this is the only room left. If you like it or not, they won't refund the price difference. In the end, after learning the truth from Ctrip customer service, we settled on the price difference, and the result was not bad.

We were so glad we decided to spend our honeymoon at Aarunya, it was truly wonderful. The sounds of the surroundings make for a magical and immersive experience in this beautiful location. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here, the accommodation and food is of an extremely high standard. The amenities are fantastic and feel very exclusive. The staff are all wonderful and were very attentive, they were always on hand offering any help we needed. We made good use of the spa treatments which were delightfully relaxing. The sky habitat room was perfect for us, a little more storage space for clothing inside the room would make it even better. Thank you to all who made the start of our honeymoon in Sri Lanka outstanding!

We had a pleasurable stay at this resort, We occupied a Suite that was very comfortable with a breathtaking view and a plunge pool , we were provided with a butler : Nilantha and he made sure everything was just perfect. Nilantha was really a committed staff member and made sure all meals arrived on time . Food was yummy specially the Lamb chops were my favourite. The GM and other staff were all very helpful n nice , we will definitely come back

This is one of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed at, offering a unique glamping experience. The location and the sky-tented villa were amazing, providing breathtaking views of the Knuckles Mountain range that are indescribable. The amenities were new since they had just opened. The staff deserves high praise for their tremendous effort, especially Mr. Nilantha, who was our personal butler. A special shout-out to him for his exceptional service. Upon our arrival, the hotel offered us a wonderfully relaxing shoulder massage. This was the first time we experienced such treatment and hospitality, and it was truly exceptional.

My favourite hotel of the whole trip (and we did Wild Coast / many other 5 stars). No words for how breathtaking the setting was. Can see why in UNESCO site, the serenity of absolute quiet, the sounds of so many birds - which fly so close to the room. The accommodation was easily the most thoughtful and best appointed in terms of comfort, layout, space you actually use etc. We stayed in the sky tented room with a pool. In all the right ways you feel connected with nature but it feels like a 5* hotel room when inside. Finally the service, apologies to the team - The manager and our butler for forgetting names. But it was the most natural luxury service experience we had all holiday. Easy to communicate with, met any requests, and pleasant conversation without anything being forced. Sadly we only had one night as would have loved to have explored more of the property and experiences.

A wonderful and charming hotel in nature that takes you to a different world above the green mountain slopes filled with trees and the beautiful sounds of nature...
