On the outskirts of Kandy, on the top of a mountain. The road up the mountain is steep and rugged, but after entering the hotel, I found it small and exquisite, full of human touch. The restaurant overlooks the Kandy Valley and the scenery is great. It is worth mentioning the service attitude: We brought a child, and basically all hotels add an additional fee of 15-20 dollars, but here we were exempted, and a child's breakfast was given The evening buffet is particularly highlight. I originally wanted to order a la carte, but after repeated persuasion from the manager, I reluctantly ordered the buffet in the mentality of not causing trouble for them, and found that it was an unexpected surprise. It's just... It's really delicate and delicious. Especially after eating a few days of five-star buffets that I can't praise, this place is definitely a surprise. 1. There were a lot of mosquitoes. I called three times for mosquito coils and waited for two hours. The network on the mountain is not good, the wif signal is very poor, and the work software cannot be opened at all. 3. The way up the mountain is difficult and a bit dangerous, so it is not worth the trip. 4. The bedding in the room has a wet smell and the sheets and quilts are not covered. It's fluffy and extremely uncomfortable. 5. The decoration is old and the equipment in the house is old. 800 per night is not a good value for money. 6. Regarding the food, it is relatively fair, but I ordered a curry beef stew and I couldn't bite it. The price is not cheap. A portion of mushrooms Soup is 30rmb, breakfast food is relatively small, and there is basically no staple food. Fortunately, there are eggs, sausages and bread to fill your stomach. 7. Regarding the scenery, regardless of the number of mosquitoes, you can see the sea of ​​clouds when you wake up in the morning. There is a very small green grassland in front of the room, and the air It's not bad, the view is good, this is the only advantage, but the hotel is very small, the way up the mountain is long and difficult to walk, the path is not only rugged but also full of yellow mud. To be honest, it is quite dangerous for unskilled drivers. Overall Not recommended at all, wouldn’t want to come here a second time

The service is very good, the environment is average, the room is very humid and there are big bugs. The advantage is that the location is very good. It is on the top of the mountain in Kandy and has a good view. When you wake up in the morning, you can hear the chanting of Buddha's Tooth Relic Temple and see the morning mist.

Excellent location with breath taking view from room and glass panelled dinning area. Steep climb to the resort but worth the effort for a quiet vacation and family time. All rooms have good view but prefer the first floor rooms from a choice of ground and first floor. Good staff with reasonable choice of food. Better select breakfast plus dinner package as it would be inconvenient to go searching for food at night as location is about 30 drive from centre of city(lake) Room size a little compact but not too small. Cleanliness levels are good while menu could have a larger spread

We stayed here for a couple of nights of nights during our tour of Southern Sri Lanka. One of the most impressive things is actually the drive up to the top of the hill the hotel sits on, hang on your hats.. The property is beautiful and every inch of it is expertly used. The rooms are well appointed but we found the walls to be paper thin, just hope that you don’t have noisy neighbors. We were half board, well there’s definitely no where else to go. The restaurant is three walls of glass to amplify the fabulous view of Kandy. Food was of a very good standard. Good WiFi and there’s a fridge in the room.

One of the best properties we stayed at during our vacation at Sri Lanka. Amazing location. Loved the view from the room! Not so spacious but clean and well maintained rooms. Food served at the restaurant was tasty. The breakfast buffet spread was huge. Gobie helped us arrange a hasslefree day tour to Kandy. All in all a great stay with good memories to come back to.

Spent my birthday weekend at Fox Kandy and had the most peaceful and relaxed holiday. Great view, nice clean rooms, super shower with pressure & hot water and Wifi was excellent! Staff are polite, friendly and very obliging. We enjoyed the food! I felt sad to leave! It felt like home ❤️ Can’t wait to try Fox Jaffna 😃

Beautiful hotel. It is a drive out of Kandy city but that just means that you are atop a stunning hill vista, listening to the birds and watching all the butterflies and the sunset. Great pool and views. Staff are super helpful, particularly the wonderful restaurant staff who are so attentive and would reserve our favourite table without us asking. Food is a delicious buffet option of local or western food. I went for walks around the neighbouring streets in the evenings for some exercise. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this boutique resort. The property is very well maintained. The room was nice. Staff are super friendly, efficient and helpful. Food was excellent. Everything, from making a reservation to checking out was a pleasant exprience. We really loved this place, and we hope to be back here again some time, for a longer stay.

We had a really great stay. The food was great and the staff was friendly. The room was big and beautiful view. It has also a pool, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use it. However, it looks amazing and we're regretting we didn't make time to enjoy it.

Lovely resort in Kandy. Highly recommend. We actually arrived in Kandy to stay in another place, which we were very disappointed with. We found a last minute booking at Fox Resorts and couldn’t have been more delighted with the move. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and went all out to secure us a second night. Buffet dinner and breakfast is excellent - and staff all very lovely.

Excellent buffet for dîner and breakfast. View is beautiful from the restaurant Very confortable room and clean. Staff are friendly especially the Bell man and the chef who cooking livve the food. Unfortunatly we stayed only one short night to enjoy all facilities

Access to the hotel is very difficult and you will cross dangerous roads to reach it. The location of the hotel is in the mountains of Kennedy city and at a height. The weather there is colder than in the city. Almost all rooms have a view of the valley. The rooms inside the main building are bigger and cleaner. The restaurant's food is limited, but I suggest you definitely try the local Sri Lankan food. The staff is very kind and works very responsibly for your happiness. The hotel environment is very quiet, if you are looking for absolute peace, choose this hotel, but if you want a lively and happy hotel, do not choose this hotel. The hotel is far from the city center. It is a small hotel and is equal to 4 star hotels. It is suitable for a very short period of time.
