Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

Front counter staff members are friendly, helpful and cooperative particularly Avishek (if I remember correctly his name) was fantastic and exceptional customer service. I should mention Salim who cleaned our room was very very polite, friendly and helpful. The room is big but the down size is the shower over bath. Bath tub is tiny and water does not go down to the drainage pipe caused water clogged. The breakfast items were limited and does not reflect five star standard. However the General Manger should look the breakfast menu by himself and should take appropriate action.

It's the worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in. It's not a five-star hotel. I don't recommend it. It's no different from a comfortable hotel.

Hotel is on crowded road and unfortunately lacks sound proofing ..very noisy in room like you are sleeping next to road … rooms needs update … food was very good …overall service was good ..this hotel cannot guarantee good night sleep the most important point for me.

We had booked for official events. The program went well.. Friendly staffs but we faced problem with electricity. The hotel could really use renovation, then it would be perfect. The food was good as well. Overall I would rate this experience a 8 out of 10.

My stay at The Everest Hotel, Kathmandu was excellent and comfortable. The breakfast spread is excellent and so are the staff at the hotel. Chef Rock star - Rakesh’s food preparations and services is delicious. He has always provided with the best of food during my entire stay. Chef Chinta Mani’s preparation of food was amazing. He has always been very kind to provide the best of meals. Radhika’s services during breakfast buffet was excellent. She is extremely kind and caters to the guest’s preferences and needs. Yashodha services were excellent too. Varsha, Kristi and Vikram at The Reception were extremely professional and ensured a smooth and comfortable check in services and stay. The Night Manager Siroj was professional and very efficient. Ensured the best of services. Thank you to all! - Kabir Lal

It was good experience. Member of cafe was very kind and service oriented. Mr. Himal & Ms. Radhika had provided really good service. But the room of hotel was not good as I expected. The room had bad smell and bathing place was embrassing. They need to reform it.

Food was good and the service was also amazing. Himal ji was very helpful. He gave us suggestions about the local locations. The rooms are good but there was a typical smell so we had to change the room once. But the staff was very helpful. View is okay. It is very close to the airport so it was very convenient. Overall a good experience.

Great place to stay specially for family, prime location, easily accessible public transport. Hotel is full of all amenities. Great staff, was assisted by Mrs Radhika & she was really amazing. Entire hotel staff was to cooperative. Checking time was 2 Pm but they allow us early check in as we reached early.

Very nice and happy people I felt so welcome and at home Loved the meals especially the butter chicken 👍🥰 it was so delicious Radhika was a pleasant staff Infact all the staff and chefs were great top The managers are always asking to ensure we are satisfied with all services They were so keen to offer my favorite dish and happy to prepare according to my preference I loved the taste and spices

Excellent ambiance, excellent staff specially Mr. Rakesh (Chef), Mr. Himal Mr. Subrana and Mr. Deepak. I would also thanks all the other staff. It is pleasure to stay here. We will surely come again to The Everest Hotel and we also recommend other to stay and take world class stay experience
