Xi Xiaoshi Designers High View Scenic Hotel (Kunming Dounan Flower Market Branch)

I booked this hotel for my floristry course, and it was absolutely fantastic! It's super close to Dounan Flower Market, and there are so many great food options right downstairs. A special shout-out to the two ladies at the front desk – they were incredibly kind and their service was exceptionally attentive. Definitely a 5-star experience!

The hotel is beautifully designed, offering stunning views right from the window. The high-floor rooms boast expansive views and are equipped with large-screen TVs. Upon arrival, we were treated to complimentary white fungus soup, freshly baked flower cakes, and fruit. Convenience stores and fruit shops are conveniently located downstairs, and getting a taxi for transportation is very easy. It's also not far from Dounan; just a few minutes by taxi or about a 10-minute walk. Shared electric scooters are available right downstairs. Our host was incredibly helpful, always ready to answer any questions and even recommended some great local eateries. You can also have breakfast delivered to your room. I highly recommend staying here.

The final hotel on our Yunnan trip certainly didn't disappoint. Our high-floor room offered expansive views, and the large TV was a big hit with the kids. The complimentary tremella soup and flower cakes upon check-in were a thoughtful touch. Its location is very convenient with several convenience stores downstairs, and getting around by taxi is also very easy. We wanted to visit Dounan Flower Market before leaving Yunnan, and it was conveniently located just a few minutes by taxi or a fifteen-minute walk away. The staff were always enthusiastic in answering our questions and recommended some great local eateries. After checking out, we accidentally left an item of clothing in the room. The hotel promptly contacted us after discovering it during cleaning and helped arrange its return. We truly appreciated their attentive and thoughtful service. Regarding the room and facilities, the layout perfectly matched the pictures. There were fresh flowers at the entrance, the bedding was clean and neat, and the lighting created a very cozy atmosphere. The presence of a motion-sensor night light under the bed was a thoughtful touch, making it convenient and safe to get up during the night. The bathroom fixtures were all TOTO, and the hairdryer was also very effective. The only minor suggestion would be for slightly stronger shower water pressure. Overall, it's a great hotel and highly recommended.
