Kunming Pupu Design Hotel (Dianchi Haigeng Daba)

The bed is much more comfortable than it looks in the photo. The toilet in the bathroom is too smart. The light from the toilet button shines through the glass at night and needs to be covered with a towel.

We stayed in a triple room with a designer Dulong tree house loft (I forgot to take a picture of the big bed downstairs). The window of this room cannot be opened, but there is always fresh air system for ventilation (there are other rooms with windows that can be opened). The hotel is very clean and has an elevator. It is very convenient to get to the underground parking space by the elevator. The location of the hotel is very good. It is within walking distance of the National Village, Haigeng Park, the cross-lake cableway station to Xishan, and the seagull feeding station. Because it is a scenic spot, the streets outside are very spacious and clean, completely different from the streets in Kunming city. The boss is a very nice person, an artist 🧑🎨. He helped us with our luggage, gave us some food, and walked with us to the entrance of nearby attractions when he was free. The hotel does not have breakfast now, but there is a snack street next to it, and they are in the process of obtaining permission for breakfast in the future. I will stay here again next time I go.

The cozy and comfortable ethnic room, the bedding is clean and comfortable, dry, and there are no dead corners. It looks reassuring. The environment is very good. It takes only two or three minutes to walk to Haigeng Dam. It is also convenient to have breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and cheap. The Yunnan specialty rice noodles for 12 yuan are very filling. The most praiseworthy thing is the service. A polite man comforted me with his gentle and meticulous care in the middle of the night. He paid attention to and served every guest very early in the morning. He was practical and warm-hearted, and also gave bird food. The taxi driver was also very friendly. He took the initiative to help me confirm the main entrance of the hotel in the middle of the night. He was not afraid of trouble. He did not abandon me after sending me to the place. He left only after ensuring my safety. Kunming is beautiful and the people are even more beautiful.

The room was clean and quiet. The boss was very nice and enthusiastic. He chatted with me for a long time. I will book this place again next time I come to Kunming.

The owner upgraded the room for free, but the facilities felt very average, the hot water was not hot, there was no toilet paper, and there were inexplicable socks in the closet. The details were not in place and did not meet expectations.
