Kunming Linli Homestay

This B&B was absolutely amazing! It's located in a charming little fishing village near Kunming. Right at the entrance, there's a huge lotus pond, and some lotus flowers are still in bloom. A short walk of about ten minutes takes you to the shore of Dianchi Lake, where the views are stunning and it's wonderfully free of commercialization. The entire house is made of wood, and the interior decor is quite new, very tasteful, and spotlessly clean. The small courtyard is also very comfortable; you can make your own tea there, just like being at home. We even enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard during a rainy afternoon without getting bored. The owner even provided mountain bikes for us to cycle along the path by Dianchi Lake, which was incredibly refreshing and therapeutic! Within a 10-kilometer radius, there's a spot famous for the most beautiful sunset, even featured on National Geographic! Despite a heavy downpour in the afternoon, witnessing the stunning sunset in the evening felt incredibly lucky and absolutely worthwhile. The owner was exceptionally kind and even brought us some fresh fruit. Prices for everything nearby are very reasonable; the rice noodles right outside the door were only 10 RMB a bowl and absolutely delicious! The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center, so I'd recommend visitors to plan their activities locally and focus on exploring the surrounding area rather than venturing into the city.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The accommodation was great and spotless. The host was incredibly kind; they even brought us steamed buns and rose pastries for breakfast in the morning. Their dog was so adorable! And the village right behind the property is also incredibly beautiful.

The host was incredibly kind and helpful! He sorted out our room arrangements for us and even gave us some complimentary flower cakes and fruit. The village itself is tiny and wonderfully quiet, with hardly anyone around. We actually bumped into him a few times while we were out exploring during the day, which was quite charming, haha. I absolutely adored this little wooden cabin. Our stay was fantastic – it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We'll definitely be returning!

First off, the place was impeccably clean and equipped with smart features. The bedding felt high-quality and offered excellent value for money. As for the location, it's incredibly close to Dianchi Lake, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll after dinner – truly tranquil! I absolutely have to give the host a glowing review; you can tell they poured their heart into making this a wonderful experience!

The wooden room had a distinct and natural woody aroma. The in-room amenities felt quite premium, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable, perhaps due to their natural, grain-like filling. The owner was exceptionally hospitable. This visit, I had the pleasure of trying Gua Feng Zhai tea, and I truly hope to have it again on my next stay. Even my companion, who isn't a tea drinker, loved it – it was absolutely fantastic!

A fantastic guesthouse! It was spotlessly clean, and the hosts were incredibly genuine and welcoming. Even though breakfast wasn't included, the owners, a lovely couple, went out of their way to buy us some local specialty breakfast. If we ever return to Kunming, we'll definitely stay here again.
