Great hotel if you are looking for a place with a great view and close to the ethnic village. Service from Kaia was great! She addressed all the questions we had and helped us with our luggages and needed amenities. It’s a family-place with a number of children, hence if you are looking for a more adult-friendly place with some quietness this may not be the place for you

Everything is good, but food (in-room dining) is atrocious. My 2nd meal consist of mostly chilli and bones; barely any meat. Employee was sincerely apologetic after I feedbacked.

We arrived at 8:30pm and the front desk was short staffed (only one person for such a big hotel). Need to wait to be served. Location is great. And our room is modern, spacious, and nice. Food is average though.

Great view and have a relaxing vibe in the hotel. Family or Couples are recommended.

Good hotel in Kunming. Close to the lake, but a little far from downtown.

I loved my stay at Hualuxe. I was able to talk to them through wechat before coming to confirm Covid-19 testing policies. The service was great, he hotel was clean, and the grounds are beautiful! The staff was very helpful and assisted me in booking a car to visit the Stone Forest. The location is far from the city. I loved being close to the lake and walked there a few times. Overall, it was a great stay!

Very accommodating and great amenities. Loved the buffet breakfast and the hot pools. Wish the big pool would have been heated, very chilly.

The experience was great. The breakfasts were very complete, perhaps lacking a little more pastries. The room was very comfortable and easy to access. The exterior surroundings of the rooms are beautiful. The service coordinated by Cathy was very friendly and the attention was in English, which is appreciated by those of us who do not speak Chinese yet.

I need to stay in Kunming for one night when I go to Dali. I chose Hualuxe Hotel on Ctrip. I didn't expect to find a treasure! External environment: The hotel is garden-style, lush and green, with loquat trees, bayberry trees and some rare African tree species, white water lilies are also in bloom, and there are black swans and little turtles basking in the sun 🐢 It's really a treasure garden! The internal environment is also very good, especially the lobby. The afternoon sun pours into the lobby through the bright windows. The soft and warm light gently falls on the table with coffee. Light and shadow interweave in the lobby, and the fragrance of coffee slowly diffuses in the air, creating a quiet and beautiful atmosphere~ In addition, the service, special thanks to the butler Jerry for his service: active + careful + considerate, from the warm reminder before check-in to the intimate greetings after check-in, must give a thumbs up! Other hotel services include the front desk who helps coordinate the room, and the smiling service of the cleaning staff, which really reflects the management level of a hotel~ The hotel room is very clean, and there are abundant fruits (see picture) as well as yogurt and sweet soup~ A warm reminder, the hotel can park for free, but you need to inform the front desk staff of your license plate number in advance, otherwise you will be charged when you go out! When you come to Kunming, I recommend you to stay at Kunming Huayu Hotel, with a five-star recommendation index!

The hotel environment is very good, with a hot spring pool inside. It is a garden-style hotel. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. On the day I stayed, I was upgraded to an executive king room, which faces the center of the swimming pool. I especially praise Jerry. He added WeChat in advance before joining the company, asked about the arrival time, introduced the surrounding attractions, and sent sweet soup. The sweet soup was already heated in the room before the person arrived. I will choose Hualuxe next time.

When I first came to Kunming, I chose Hualuxe Hotel under IHG, and I was not disappointed. The hotel is located near Dianchi Lake, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and it feels like a paradise. The hotel rooms are quiet and beautiful. Jerry also helped to upgrade the room. When I woke up in the morning, I could hear the birds singing and look at the mountains in the distance.

During the May Day holiday, my family went to Kunming for vacation. As an IGH member, I finally chose Huayu. This was my first time staying at Huayu. I looked at the price and found that the price for the May Day holiday was not much higher than usual. This is why we chose a better hotel for our family trip during the short holiday. The next day after booking, the housekeeper Mia contacted me through WeChat and asked if we had any special needs for the room. She learned that we liked quietness and upgraded us to a mountain view room. What was even more surprising was that May 3rd was the child’s birthday. Mia arranged for the housekeeping department to carefully decorate the room and asked the restaurant to send a cake. It was really a big surprise for the child when we came back from the outside that day. Special thanks. The hotel is a garden-style resort hotel, very close to the Haigeng Dam National Village, etc. The green landscape of the hotel itself is very beautiful, and the free hot spring is a highlight. You can have a good sleep every night in the hot spring. The restaurant breakfast is not crowded, there are both Chinese and Western styles, especially the local specialty rice noodles, etc. We can eat two bowls every day, haha. When we left the hotel on the last day, the child was reluctant to tell us that he would stay here next time he came to Kunming! Haha!
