Cute little hotel in a good location and staff were very friendly and helpful! Only issue was that room was advertised as non-smoking however, arrived to find a strong smoke smell and even an ash tray in room. It seems whether it is smoking / non smoking changes for each guest and not a dedicated ‘non-smoking room’. As other guests have noted, given its central location there can be a lot of noise in the evening. The hotel did provide ear plugs and wasn’t an issue for us, but sensitive sleepers should note. Overall, a good stay and would visit again soon. Thank you!

Very good location, the service is very helpful.

We booked the Derung room for our stint in Kunming and was blown away by the service. We were celebrating my birthday and my boyfriend wanted to get the hotel staff to help deliver a bouquet since we don’t have local phone numbers, but the staff took the initiative to buy a bouquet of roses on his behalf at no charge instead. The room was beautiful and clean as well! The hotel is also located within walking distance from all key attractions in Kunming, like Kunming Old Street and Nanqiang Pedestrian Street. The perfect stay for first timers to Kunming/Yunnan ☺️ Would note that as the hotel is located in the heart of the city centre cars cannot drop you off directly at the doorstep - do make arrangements prior with the front desk and let them know what time you’re arriving.

Excellent location just 25-30 minutes to the airport or train station. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and a bars nearby. The staff are helpful and friendly. They provided welcoming fruits and offered warm milk before bedtime. Although there is construction on the ground floor, it didn't affect us since we left before they started and returned after they finished. The hotel also provides earplugs, just in case.

Great location and beautiful room, very artsy and tastefully designed. You’ll feel like you’re in the heart of yunnan. Unfortunately there was construction going on at the time but the staff was apologetic and provided earplugs.

Convenient location for walking around to find food, bars, etc but if your room is on level 3, you can hear the live singing / guitar playing from the bars downstairs even past midnight. Our room was paying tribute to the Hani tribe aesthetic. Not so easy for drivers to drop you off, and there’ll be a small distance to roll your luggage on cobble stone streets. Not far, but a point to note if you have elderly or kids to take care of as they’ll have to navigate past moving traffic. Overall an interesting vibe if you like more aesthetically driven room designs for your hotel room :)
