It’s so clean with all u need amenities! Staff are so friendly! Even tho there are still cons like location and u have to give back the key to front desk every time u going outside, but I will still rate it 5/5

The room is very good and very quiet! The price is also very good. The room is quite large. I was very happy to stay there twice. There is a restaurant in the wine house opposite the hotel which is also very good.

The hotel is hidden in a quiet and leisurely living area, a few minutes' walk from the subway station. The location is very convenient, not far from the most prosperous commercial street. The room is quite large in Japan, very clean, has everything you need, and even has its own washing machine and dryer. I asked the front desk to help book dinner for three nights. They are all within a 10-minute walk of the hotel and the price/performance ratio is very good. Overall, it is a hotel that I will consider staying at again next time.

Convenient transportation, comfortable and clean rooms, and good service.

This is a boutique B&B with only a few rooms. It is located in a residential area with a one-way street, so there are no taxis at the door. You have to walk to the main road. Taxis will not know that this hotel has no lunge. There is only one waiter on duty and no service at all. I live in a long and narrow area. The false window on the front of the room type opens to the side and smells of oil smoke from the next building. The decoration is exquisite and very new. The best reviews. There is no odor. The bathroom is very good and the towels are soft. The hair dryer is 200 yuan. The wind is too small and the long hair is too broken. The Western breakfast is sent to the room but the quality is It is extremely ordinary. No matter how good the reviews of this type of hotel are, I will not choose Okura in the off-season. It is 37 square meters. At this price, the service is respectful and the facilities are complete. How can a small store like this compare?

I stayed in a very good hotel in Kyoto. The overall hotel is not big. There are 4 rooms on the first floor, separate bathroom, separate shower room, washing machine and dryer. The family experience is very comfortable. The location of the hotel is relatively quiet. But it is very convenient to walk 10 minutes from the surrounding Nishiki Market and Daimaru. I recommend this hotel

Facilities: very very complete Hygiene: very clean Environment: very good, the location is also very good, the neighborhood is very quiet service: very attentive When checking out, the staff sent us out, accompanied us to take a taxi, helped us with our luggage, and bowed to send us away. I was very touched. The accommodation experience is also very good, the room is very big. If I come to Kyoto next time, I will choose here again.

We stayed here for one night, and the suite we booked was perfect for its value, even during high season. This is my sixth visit to Japan and approximately tenth hotel, and I can confidently say this was the very best in terms of value and service. However, what is even more commendable is the level of service offered here. For instance, my mom and I were trying to navigate our way back to Osaka late at night, hours after we had checked out. The kind gentlemen at the front desk could not have been more helpful, assisting us in selecting the best train and providing detailed instructions to reach the appropriate station. They were patient and caring, embodying the absolute best of the world-renowned Japanese standard of service. We cannot wait to return on our next visit to Kyoto.

This was a FABULOUS stay, down to the detail. Arrival, room, service, cleanliness, staff and location. We had a room on the 4th floor which was very spacious and comfy. Perfect temperature, lovely bedding and linens, the lighting, bath and bathroom were all of the utmost simple and elegant standard. The staff was very helpful thanks to the services provided by Nishkawa, Hori, Ruri and Hirota. They helped us get around Kyoto, arranged for our baggage delivery to our next hotel and even helped arrange for a 24 hour laundry service since their pickup time had already passed. The anteroom also had a lovely couch and makeup dresser (boudoir) which my girlfriend used and liked a lot. All around 10/10, highly recommended. If I were to come back to Kyoto I wouldn’t doubt staying here again!

We recently stayed for four nights in the Tomoya Residence Hotel in Kyoto. We found the accommodation and the friendly and attentive staff were fantastic and just what we were hoping for when we booked. The Tomoya Residence is well situated in a nice part of Kyoto, surrounded by countless restaurants and cafes. It is also nearny to public transport and major attractions including the Nijō Castle and the International Manga Museum. After staying in hotels for a couple of weeks beforehand it was very handy to have our own self contained laundry within our two bedroom Executive Apartment. It was great to have a bit of space to relax and get prepared for our next adventure. Thank you to Tomoya Residence Hotel for a wonderful stay and an excellent base to explore Kyoto from.

We had a beautiful one bedroom suite on the ground floor overlooking a courtyard (Room 101) , so much space, own laundry , separate bedroom, separate toilet, big lounge area for relaxing with a kitchenette. Enormous amount of space by Japanese standards.This is a modern and spotless boutique hotel nestled in the narrow back streets of Kyoto.The staff were all attentive, we interacted with them more than in a normal hotel as you have to hand over your room key when going out for the day.A nostalgic touch ! A beautifully curated tray was delivered into the room for breakfast every morning at the requested time. This was included in our room rate. Less than 10 minutes walk to 2 different stations, bus is a good option with some research and preplanning. Part of the adventure was dinner each night in one of the myriad of tiny restaurants hidden in this area (and the quirky bars).Sake bars, wine bars, beer only bars one full of vermouths from around the world, most places with only a few seats. I was captivated by how it all works as a business model as there was only one sitting in the restaurants and we never felt rushed.A few language barriers but every meal was wonderful ,and very reasonable prices by Aussie standards.Absolutely no tipping anywhere including bars.

We absolutely love this boutique hotel/apartment. Not only that it is conveniently located to near subway station, tourist attractions and nice restaurants, this hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and cleverly designed, wifi is fast and have double basins in the bathroom (very important for people travelling with family). And most important of all, staffs are so friendly, polite and their willingness to assist ensure our stay in Kyoto is enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended to all our fellow travellers.
