The room is really small, and overall I am satisfied. Check-in and check-out are done by yourself on the machine, which is typical Japanese service. If there is no electric kettle in the room, you can ask for it from the front desk. There is a self-service coffee machine in the lobby for free coffee.

It is very close to Kyoto Station, and it is convenient to take the subway and Shinkansen. There are large shopping malls, noodle shops, Yoshinoya, and supermarkets nearby. But the map navigation is not very accurate. I walked twice but couldn't find it successfully.

The room is clean and well-stocked, but please note that this hotel can easily be confused with another hotel with the same name. Fortunately, when you go to any one of them, the front desk clerk will help point you to the other hotel. There is a convenience store downstairs from the hotel, just outside Kyoto. The station is also very close, you can still stay there

We stayed for 2 nights, It was OK but excellence is definitely stretching the truth. The rooms and décor were clean and modern, and the location (close to the station, Toji temple and Aeon Mall) is a big plus. The downsides were a very tiny room (although this is pretty normal for Japan), a very basic breakfast – Toast and jam or instant noodles and the hotel refusing to store luggage before or after checkout. We were allowed to check in earlier than the official check in time of 3pm.
