Hotel Briller Kyoto Station South Reviews

Small room and really small bathroom but more than enough for a short stay. Wifi works flawlessly, staff is really nice and the location is superb.

Straight walk across the road from Kyoto Station. We had a room with a unique design. Staff were very helpful and used a translation device and Google Translate to help us with directions.

Good location. Clean, modern hotel. WiFi was a little bit patchy on occasion. They stored our bags for us which was helpful

It was expensive due to holidays. Apart from that, it was clean and spacious. It’s not far from Kyoto station.

New hotel near train station. Exactly good for sleeping. Metro and bus station in 200 meters, you can easy rich all places include Nara. Staff very helpful and amenities very nice. Very recommended

Staff was nice and helpful and tried to use translator to communicate in English with the customer. :)

The walk to the hotel from JR Kyoto Station was breif. It took about less than 10mins to reach. Literally, Hotel Briller is just right across the station. It's also very close to a few convenient stores nearby and also the Kujo Subway station, which is just brilliant. I was greeted by the friendly staff and i helped myself with a free hot coffee at the lobby! Apart from the cozy room, what i really liked about Hotel Briller is that it also has a laundry machine and a dryer. To make it more interesting, it also houses a vending machine neatly at the lobby for your convenience. Even though it was just a 2-night stay there but i really liked being there as it was clean, comfortable and every time i came back to it it just felt like "coming home"

The service of this hotel is really good. You can store your luggage after checking out. The service at the front desk is also very thoughtful. It is very close to Kyoto Station, but my navigation was out of control at the time, so we had to take a detour with our luggage on the main road (but the navigation is still my thoughtful little cotton jacket most of the time). I forgot to take pictures. The room is not big overall, and the bed is relatively small, but it is still comfortable. The sound insulation effect is good, and you can hardly hear the traffic outside the window.

Clean hotel room with good facilities. Train station within walking distance. The only drawback was that there was unfortunately no room service

The hotel location is strategic, close to Kyoto Station and many places to eat. The room is big enough for two twin beds. Capsule coffee is available on the 1st floor.
