"Having stayed at the Xinxing branch before, this was my first time at the Yancheng branch, and I must say I was a bit disappointed compared to my previous experience.
We booked a twin room this time. The bathroom was quite small, and there was only one usable power outlet in the room; the other two were occupied by the fridge and TV. When I asked the front desk if they had an extension cord or anything similar to borrow, they said no. I understand that the hotel is a renovation of an older property, so it can't be perfect, but modern travelers bring many electronic devices that need charging. Having only one usable outlet is simply not enough, and this is an area that definitely needs improvement."
"The harbor views are absolutely breathtaking, and breakfast is health-conscious and nourishing, perfect for relaxing and taking stunning photos.
However, the room only provided two miniature bottles of water, and there's no water dispenser, so tea enthusiasts will be left parched 🥲.
You have to pay extra for toothbrushes and toothpaste. The 10 CNY set was a terrible purchase; the toothpaste was so dry, it felt like it had been sealed for an eternity.
At 10:40 AM, there was a 'friendly' reminder about extending our stay, then at 11:00 AM sharp, the power was cut, feeling like a timed mission in an RPG ⚡.
It's great for enjoying the scenery, but not for guests who prioritize attentive service, especially if they're not already enamored with the place 😅.

"The location is great, about a 7-minute walk from Cianjin MRT station. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. The first room we were assigned was quite noisy, and we had to contact the front desk twice to change rooms before we found one we were happy with. The staff were very accommodating and helped us change rooms each time. Having a coin-operated laundry room was also very convenient!"
"Location is excellent as its near all tourist places, even though the place is quiet and nice to stay. We also got free bicycle renting to explore things around there too, this is not note in hotel facility, but hotel has got it. My mom needs to sit on wheelchair, but the place is quite convenient to her to get service in hotel. The room is clean, bed is great, toilet equipped with warm seat as well. I like the soap and shampoo at hotel, smell is so nice. At the guest lobby my kid is happy with snack, drink that provided, also i can have coffee at all the time from there as well..
i think we made right decision that we stayed here for 2 nights, the time was great there. thanks for good service."
"The room was very comfortable. On the evening of July 1st, around 8:30 PM, I had a severe stomachache due to an upset stomach and needed to see a doctor. As I was unfamiliar with the area and it was late, and unsure about the quality of nearby doctors, I asked a staff member if there were any doctors available. She mentioned a better clinic, though not in the immediate vicinity. She immediately called them to ask if they could treat gastroenteritis; the clinic closed at 9:30 PM. She then promptly called a taxi for me. I am so grateful for her help. I wanted to thank her when I returned, but I haven't seen her in several days, so I'm taking this opportunity to thank her here! 👍🙏"
"I had a great stay. The hotel is very clean, with housekeeping provided daily. As a light sleeper, I appreciated that the room felt private and quiet. Bottled water need to request from front desk. While there was a slight odor at the elevator, the room itself was perfectly fine.
The location is excellent—a 5-minute walk to the MRT (1 stop from Formosa Boulevard) and a 30-minute Uber to Zuoying HSR and the Dragon and Tiger Pagoda. A small Family Mart is right next door, and Hwada Milk Tea is just 200m away. McDonald's is nearby. I didn’t opt for hotel breakfast, and there aren't many breakfast varieties within walking distance. My only real complaint was that the pillows were too soft."
"The hotel is a five-minute walk from Yanchengpu MRT station, surrounded by plenty of great food options, and close to Pier 2 Art Center and the port.
Check-in at the lobby was quick. The room was spacious, and the bed's firmness was just right. The room lighting was also very bright, and I especially loved the makeup mirror with its auxiliary light – it made applying makeup a breeze.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was quite tasty.
It was very convenient that I could store my luggage after check-out, with no time limit for pick-up.
The main drawback is that the soundproofing is really not good. Even on the tenth floor, I could hear street noise from the ground floor, as well as water running next door, people talking outside, doors closing, and hair dryers."
"Hotel decor is cute & oozes cheery vibes. Staff are all very helpful & friendly. We booked a twin room & it was spacious and comfortable, there's even a bathtub in addition to shower area. Hotel breakfast spread exceeded my expectations of typical ********* hotel breakfast. Quite a variety of food options & they were generally tasty too.
Really high CP value hotel! If we had to nitpick, the bed was a bit hard to sleep on."
"Great location, 2 minutes walk away from the pier 2. The culture shops in warehouses are 1 minutes away. It is also right next to the international music center with beautiful architecture, as well as a park around. Light rails and bus stops are also close by. Great trail along the water way. The rotating bridge, the longest in Aisa rotates every day 3pm SHARP, is right in sight. Plenty restaurants and shops on the other side of the water way across the bridge. Many noodle shops (at least 3) as well as convenient stores are within walking distance. The hotel room is relatively small, but cozy. It is clean and has good layout inside. The room has a good view of the street. The hotel staff are also friendly, quite accessible and helpful, with one exception when one of the days it ran out of tooth paste, which is unreasonably expensive if you had to buy one in OK shop right next to the hotel. The hotel provides a coffee machine with free ground coffee, very convenient if you want to grab a cup of Americano or cappocciino in the morning right out of the bed. The hotel also provides laundry facilities in the basement with a washer and a dryer, even though the capacity is way over the amount of worn clothes in several days. Had wished the hotel had a simple gym, well, I guess I have to do without this time. Overall it has been a good staying experience."
"It was very convenient to have parking available. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. There were free snacks, coffee, and tea in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good. The location is close to Pier-2 Art Center and the MRT. Overall, it was a great stay!"

Outstanding
RRJHL5Great location less than 20 minutes from KHH airport. It is within 8 minutes walking distance from SOGO for those who love to shop department stores.
There are 7-11s ( more than one!) Family Marts and a PX Mart (grocery store) along each road. Very convenient.
The drinks at 7-11 will be cheaper priced than Family Mart and PX Mart and sometimes they will have a BOGO on select items ( I got an extra baby wipe pack by sheer luck).
The Family Mart will have more unique items (ex Kombucha, health teas etc). The food selection for both places will be a bit limited for grab and go eats. Think sweet pastries and snacks. They do have some sandwiches but not super healthy if you are vegetarian.
The hotel has complementary breakfast that starts at 6:30am ends at 10am. It is a buffet the fills up the entire room. There is a wonderful mix of local foods, one Western style pot.
There is a small salad bar, fruit bar, coffee/tea and a small short order cook that will fry up 4 items (eggs, scallion onion omelette, turnip cakes). There is an other side has at least 10 varieties of local foods.
The quality is great! Not too oily, 2 congee pots ( regular and Hong Kong Style). Fruits include what is season (Guava, apples, watermelon) and oranges, bananas.
I will warn you about the late night snack (Dim Sum) buffet. Located on same floor and it starts at 7pm. That is a busy mad house. The line to queue up starts earlier and it will go down the hall to the stairwell.
Lots of tour buses come to this location and tour groups will flood in each week during season. I went during early April for 9 days.
I would go to breakfast at 8 am and skipped the nighttime crush. Restaurants are readily available all around and very affordable.
This hotel comes with complimentary laundry DIY and laundry powder soap. Make sure you write your room number on the dry erase placard and stick it on each machine you use. Otherwise another guest may accidentally throw their items in and use the machine. The dryers are on top so hard to see what’s on the bottom.
There is a free lounge in the lobby that has complimentary ice cream, coffee/tea and jasmine flavored gelatin cups. You can sit there all day if you like and sip on a free espresso or other drink.
This hotel comes with a lot of amenities at a reasonable rate— I will stay here again next time.
KKatherine PeiExcellent hotel! The rooms are spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. The soundproofing was decent. The breakfast was fantastic – you can choose from a menu, plus there's a buffet, and they even have Haagen-Dazs ice cream. They also provide complimentary drinks and snacks in the room, which was a very thoughtful touch.
PpohkThis was my third stay at this hotel since its grand opening. I visit Kaohsiung about every six months, and overall the experience has been consistently pleasant. The facilities are well designed and maintained , and the staff are friendly and professional
.
There was one issue during this stay—the shower drainage was clogged, so I had to use the bathtub instead. This is something that ideally shouldn’t happen at all, but the hotel’s response was okay. They came to fix it next morning as it was late.
The soundproofing and AC are excellent. I especially enjoyed the hot spring and the gym, both of which are well equipped and relaxing. I didn’t include the buffet breakfast this time, as I preferred grabbing local drinks, buns, and snacks from the 7‑Eleven or FamilyMart just across the street as well as leaving room for lunch later.
The desserts at the lobby café were delightful, and the Japanese restaurant was absolutely divine. It’s just a pity that I didn’t know the omakase needs to be pre-booked. The restaurant doesn’t reserve seats for hotel guests or ask about this in advance, which was a bit disappointing. The set menu was very nice.
Overall, it’s still a hotel I enjoy staying.
AAnonymous UserThe Hotel is located in the convenience transportation Location. Easy for traveling to other areas, close to the hotel also having fast food and convenience store. The hotel itself is clean you can leave the luggage before your check in. I like the common area next to the reception. It's nice and having snack and drink for Hotel guest. Quite impressive. If Having a chance will come back again.
AAnonymous UserEverything was good during my stay in this hotel. The lighting of the room was a bit too dim for me, but it wasn't a problem during the day as there was plenty of sunlight from the window. What I like about is that they put a coffee table and an armchair by the window, making it quite enjoyable to do some reading during the day. The location is a okay, around 10-15 minutes walk from the closest MRT station. The way to the station was clear and had a variety of local shops to explore.
MMiss BeanEasy to find the location. The owner were very understanding and kind since we arrived almost late from the check in time, they speak english. The view were so beautiful especially at night. There is an in-house police in the building as well as 711 convenience store. And outside there are lots of convenience store to be found. The train station is very near too. And also the elavator is very spacious.
SSamPon KAs sudden business trip, I arrived at Kaoshiung airport that feels an old school beauty. The hotel has YouTube enable TV and bed was one of the best I’ve slept on.
Even though the flight was super early.
AAnonymous UserThe location is very convenient, as it is very close to the MRT, making it easy to travel around
The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped with amenities such as a hair dryer, towels, soap, and shampoo, which made the stay very comfortable
We were also pleasantly surprised to find a large onsen style bathtub in the bathroom, which made the stay even more relaxing
However, guests need to bring their own toothpaste and toothbrush. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better🫰🏻❤️
Ttina0125333The room and bathroom were clean, and the location was convenient. The public bath was very relaxing, highly recommended for solo travelers. Breakfast was just average, so no need to specifically add it on. The soundproofing was a bit poor; you could hear people walking in the hallway and doors opening and closing on the same floor. However, they did provide earplugs, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.
AAnselAdamsVery friendly staff.
Located just before the Kaohsiung Train Station.
For free breakfast, you ordered when checked in, they gave
a small brown bag.
,, Why wouldn't u refill your tumbler with peach tea or milk tea?,,
