My first issue is I don't understand why checking in was such a hassle, especially since it's not a holiday like National Day or Chinese New Year. They told me at past 4 PM that my room wasn't ready yet. Second, after I finally checked in, the front desk staff told me I could have booked through their mini-program, and the price would have been 20% lower than what I paid. I was speechless. Saying that in front of my friend completely undermined me, didn't it? Either don't say anything, or help me rebook at the lower mini-program price on the spot. Why did they have to expose me in front of others? My third point is also about the front desk. When checking in, they said the mini-bar drinks were complimentary. But when I got to my room, there were only two bottles of mineral water. When I asked the front desk, they replied that this was the standard for my room type, but they could provide more if I wanted. This response left me not knowing whether to laugh or cry. If that's the standard, then they shouldn't have said the drinks were complimentary in the first place...

I had to wait over ten minutes for check-in without being proactively informed or having any reasonable arrangements made. When I asked about the waiting time, her response was curt. I tried to have my family wait in the hotel's lounge area but was told it wasn't allowed, causing us to go back and forth. There was no thoughtful guidance throughout, which was very frustrating and made for a terrible experience. Fortunately, a different front desk staff member took over. They were enthusiastic, professional, and patient, communicating smoothly and efficiently completing our check-in with a thoughtful touch, which helped restore some of my positive feelings. In summary: The hotel's hardware, dining, amenities, and environment are all impeccable and highly recommended. The only downside is that some front desk staff have a weak service意识 (service awareness), are unskilled, and lack communication, leading to inconsistent service levels. I hope the hotel can strengthen professional training and service management for its front desk staff to standardize service and prevent such poor reception issues from recurring.

The hotel has convenient parking, the underground parking lot is spacious and free, and self-driving tours are completely stress-free. The daily breakfast is very sincere, not only with authentic beef noodles and freshly ground coffee, but also with rich Chinese and Western choices, and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The room design is simple and warm, the bedding is comfortable and helps sleep, and the sound insulation effect is excellent. It is still quiet and comfortable to stay for many days. The front desk and room service are warm and thoughtful, and they actively provide travel guides. During the festival, they also gave small gifts. The geographical location is superior, and the surrounding dining and shopping are convenient. It is also convenient to go to scenic spots such as the Yellow River Scenic Line. The quality of Atour's bedding is top-notch, and all the bath towels are individually sealed, truly ensuring a fresh set for every guest, making for excellent hygiene. It's a great choice for your stay in Lanzhou.
