Two friendly receptionists warmly helped us check in and patiently told us about local delicacies and gave us complimentary souvenirs. Seeing our large thermos, they even brought us three bottles of mineral water, which made us very happy. The room was impeccably clean, spotless, and even had disinfectant wipes in the bathroom. Most importantly, they used L'Oreal shampoo, which is a definite plus. They even served us a comforting bowl of white fungus soup in the evening – the service was truly excellent. First off, the location is fantastic – just a few hundred meters from the subway station, and within walking distance to Zhongshan Bridge and Baita Mountain Park. It's also super convenient to grab a taxi to Lanhadu Mountain for some scenic views. Plus, there are so many food and drink options nearby, and Zhengning Road Night Market is incredibly lively in the evenings. A taxi ride to Yellow Crane Tower, Lanzhou Old Street, or the Provincial Museum is only around 20-something yuan. The front desk staff were very professional, friendly, and provided excellent, attentive service. Overall, a really great stay.
