One of the cleanest rooms in 3 weeks of traveling around Yunnan. Everything still looks brand new. The owner/couple live there and they really care about their guest house. Everything is so tidy and organized.
Bed was very comfortable. We were given our choice of rooms. (Photos show the double room and family rooms.) Proper bath towel and hand towels. Plus plenty of wall hooks and a clothes rack with hangers. Very well organized.
Location is very good for getting to old town or taking buses from the train station. It was quiet to sleep.
Highly recommend if you want a clean, high standard place!

Excellent! Although not located directly in the old town, it offers a wonderfully quiet environment. The ability for cars to pull right up to the entrance is incredibly convenient, especially for guests with a lot of luggage. It's also easy to get around, and both the ambiance and facilities are very good. Definitely great value for money.

all i can say is that the boss (the host) went above and beyond. he really went out of his way to help me, being that i’m a solo traveler and came last minute to china with practically no language skills. we still understood each other! he helped me figure out how to visit lughu lake and shaxi within my budget. he also let me leave my bag there for a night. not to mention it was a very comfortable bed so i rested well! i recommend tai yu residence 100%! thank you boss!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Lijiang. It’s very well located — about 30 minutes by bus (line 18 or 4) from the train station, and only 10 minutes on foot from the entrance to the Old Town. I arrived around noon and, since there was no one at the front desk, I sent a message via WeChat — they came right away to check me in, which I really appreciated. The bus stop for line 101, which takes you to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong), is right next to the Old Town entrance — I’ve included a photo for reference. The shuttle to Lijiang Sanyi Airport is also about 15 minutes away on foot. Everything was super close and convenient. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and very quiet at night — I slept really well. It was a perfect stay and I would definitely come back.

This hotel is truly outstanding! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious, bright, and fully equipped with excellent facilities. There's a wide array of fantastic restaurants nearby, and the atmosphere is elegant and comfortable. It's a superb choice for both business and leisure travelers. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Location : close to the old town (15min by foot), many food options just outside on the main street
Room : very clean, nice design and amazing mattress
Service : non English speaking staff, but still very helpful through a translation app
