Had a very lovely stay! Had been wanting to stay here as I couldn't find another high end hotel with direct lakefront access and this was exactly what I was looking for. The pool/lawn area was wonderful, and the restaurant was fantastic (ate all three meals there by choice). This is a classic "grand hotel" with an impressive facade and excellent service (not sure what the bad service review was all about). My room did not have air conditioning so it is worth checking if any rooms do if you are there in peak summer but in early or late summer it would not be needed. The hotel is walking distance to Lindau island, about 45 minutes, or you can rent bikes and be there in 10. Overall, there are some things that could use updating such as the outside of the building, but it was a great value and one of the most beautiful settings I have been in in Germany. The spa is also brand new and top notch with multiple saunas, steam rooms, and an indoor pool.

Lovely hotel, excellently located about 20/25 minute walk out of Lindau but close to a bus route. Very helpful and pleasant staff and beautifully set on the side of Lake Konstanz. All in all a great stay.

It was really hard to check in- somehow the fully paid ******* reservation ( my credit card was charged upon reserving the hotel)) did not show up in their system. I had to prove to the receptionist that i had paid and had to show my reservation. After that all went well. rooms need some improving: no coffee/water/tea in room, mini fridge did not work and the room felt musty because of the lake or maybe because there is no way to have a shower without flooding the non ventilated bathroom ( tub has no curtain, just a half glass door. ). Dinner was included and two nights dinner was fabulous however one night it was absolutely atrocious. Buffet breakfast was very good.

I went there for a business trip.
The food was very tasty and fresh. Very friendly staff and they have provided with support where needed. Nice lake view. Great for families and business meeting. I will book again if i am near by. Klasse unterkunft. Danke ans team.

Not that bad, but I will never recommend someone to stay in this hotel. The staff is not such friendly, unsupportive.
No air conditioning, and when I asked the receptionist to give me an iron, they refused. Their reason is that it is dangerous, and not safe for the room’s property!! Even when I told them I will take the full responsibility for any damage that could happen, they refused.

Extremely disappointing. Check in should start at 3PM, I was waiting for my room additional 30 minutes. Room was very old and smells like dump. No WiFi. Staff was lying about issues with WiFi. I left this crap hotel after 45 minutes.

hôtel vieillot , suite sur lac mais en réalité , vus sur les bateaux de location. chambre sans douche , baignoire à l'ancienne. bon petit déjeuner , literie acceptable , ambiance très germanique , accueil sérieux mais pas très souriant . bref , une autre époque d’hôtels , rien ne manque mais ce ne rigole pas.
