It is indeed a high-end hotel with first-class service👍🏻Breakfast is the specialty of this hotel. There are musicians playing and singing. It is worth mentioning that breakfast is in two rooms (at first I thought there were only desserts on the piano, but then I found out that there was another one on the stairs) There are yogurt and ham on the side), the view in the o1 room is very good, recommended!

I read online reviews about this hotel saying it has characteristics, and I thought it was ancient and quaint. Now after staying here, I feel that it is just old, not only the lighting is dim, but also a little unclean. This time we found hair in the bathrobe, and we seriously suspect that they did not clean it properly. The room equipment is also very old. There are only two plugs on the floor near the door, which are very far from the bed and very inconvenient. The air conditioner in the room has been adjusted to the highest temperature of 30 degrees, but it is still not cold at all. The shower head in the shower room is also stuck and cannot be pulled out every time it is used. I reported it to the hotel and found two staff members. When they came, they said it was normal and they thought there was no problem at all. The attitude is very bad, and there is no attitude of apology at all. And I saw other comments saying, "I was robbed in this hotel, and they are also shirking responsibility. Really at this price, this hotel is really not worth it.

This is a lovely palace with all the amenities you would expect, and they go even farther to make it such a personal experience, with their kindness, thinking outside the box, lovely music during breakfast. The breakfast is outstanding, they have pretty much anything you'd want for breakfast, and very high quality. I'm a total foodie and was super impressed. It's near many important places in the city and very walkable. There is also a bus and train nearby. I could go on and on, but for me, they really did have everything I could want. I will definitely be back for another stay!!

I’ve just stayed for 2 nights for the celebration of my partner’s Birthday.
I usually don’t bother leaving reviews but I am absolutely blown away by the level of fantastic service we received!
Where do I begin?! Firstly, a BIG thank you to Carla. Carla is both a receptionist and a singer and what a beautiful voice she has - she took the liberty to sing to my partner on the morning of her Birthday and gave her a hug which I felt was a very kind personal touch. Thank you so much for everything you did to make our stay special Carla! :)
All the staff members are incredibly welcoming, friendly, inviting and nothing is too much for them. I have genuinely never experienced such great service.
The hotel itself is beautiful and frankly is a destination within itself - it’s an old palace with stately rooms which are beautifully decorated.
Breakfast was included in the stay, both mornings this was incredibly fresh and consisted of a very wide variety of Portuguese pastries, cooked items, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juices and tea.
The Spa includes a one hour session every day for guests which can be booked at reception. It’s very intimate and consists of a heated pool/hybrid jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The member of staff we had provided us with a glass of sparkling wine and was incredibly friendly - sadly I didn’t catch her name but a big thank you to her.
Overall we had the best time! Thank you so so much! 😊
