Beautifully designed and renovated earth building! It was nice to get to stay in one of the tulous itself. We rented the whole building of 6 rooms for our family. All rooms are on the 2nd floor. 5 out of 6 rooms have a bathroom that is on a separated floor from the bedroom. There’s only one room that has bathroom on the same level as the bedroom. So, it may not be ideal for the elders. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area. There’s a small stream of river flowing in front of the house throughout the village. Very serene. We got to see locals living their usual lives, farming and picking crops. However, it’s a bit far from any main tulou sights. The staff were very nice, but lack knowledge of the attraction sights.

If you wish to experience an authentic taste of a more rural and less touristic site, then this is the place for you. Just be careful in the winter evenings, it might get a bit chilly, but I believe you can request an electric blanket. Super design and interior, breakfast perhaps on the light side, but hey, a unique experience for solo or couples.

The hotel is spread out over two renovated old tulous. The room interiors are extremely well done- very classy and chic, while still being authentic to the original structure. You can hear a bit of noise from the neighbors at night, but that comes with the territory. If you want the experience of staying in a tulou, this is probably the fanciest way to do it. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. The hotel is located on a canal that winds through a cute little village, but everything for tourists is closed and abandoned. We struggled to even find a place to buy a drink to sit by the water to enjoy the sunset. The hotel recommended a restaurant that's about a 10 minute walk away, but that was literally the only restaurant we saw. Luckily we had a rental car and could drive 20 minutes to a nearby village with a few options.

A really inspiring place to stay. It is in a village on the river that is full of Tulou, and the hotel itself is a converted Tulou designed by a team from Xiamen. It is modern, cool, beautifully restored, and has great quality rooms that don't creak, are warm and well insulated, have quality fixtures and fittings, a comfy bed, and an old and contemporary feel melded into one. . There are dedicated staff who looked after us, served us free tea, came running to give us umbrellas when it started raining, and chatted pleasantly. Even the breakfast had been redesigned by someone. Loved it. There is not much English language in the hotel or area though, and with covid protocols to deal with at the moment, you need a test from the last 48 hours to even stay. We also travelled by car, so no idea how easy it is to even access this area using public transport.

If you are interested in architecture and design, this is the place to stay. This is a gorgeous boutique heritage hotel in a beautiful village and the perfect place to unwind after a day touring the area. The lobby and rooms are beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful. There is no restaurant onsite but the staff recommended a good restaurant a short walk away. Breakfast is served in the related building across the river. We enjoyed wandering the village and drinking tea and reading books in the peaceful lobby. This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Fujian province.

Very satisfied! This is a perfect homestay. I will bring my friends here next time. We booked two large lofts at first, and the store upgraded one of them to a twin room for free. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and the area is large. There is a small balcony outside the loft that can be opened. Breakfast is served in the earth building across the stream. The nutrition is very rich and the stomach is very comfortable. It is beautiful on rainy days.

The hotel is very comfortable. I decided to stay for another day on the first day. There was someone on duty at the hotel at night. There was a river at the door. It rained and the sound of the river did not affect my sleep. It rained on the second day. I was glad to book this hotel. It was also very pleasant to enjoy the rain.

I highly recommend this place if you are staying in a Tulou. There are few people and the environment is good. Tulou are scattered in various parts of the village, and you can enjoy the tranquility and peace. The hotel is a transformation of Tulou, which is very design-oriented. I recommend the experience. The breakfast is also quite unique. The staff are all local villagers and are very simple and enthusiastic.

Highly recommended, the facilities and service facilities are great, experience the high-end homestay in the ancient Tulou house, and there are DIY youth group activities during the Qingming Festival.

The room is suitable for adults. It is not suitable for taking children to take a shower. It is cold. The room still smells like an old house. The children are afraid. However, the service is very good. Healthy breakfast

The housekeeper was very good, from check-in to the introduction of breakfast the next day, the introduction of the entire village was good. As a Qingdao native from the seaside, I really feel that the south is colder than the north in this season. When I sleep at night, I feel like I'm back to my childhood, and my forehead is cold. It is recommended to provide an electric heater for northerners

A very novel experience, the exterior wall is full of age, and the renovation inside complements each other. The room is very clean, the bed is very large and comfortable, the service is warm, and it is worth recommending.
