"The sea view at The Westin Zhujiajian is absolutely stunning! Our room directly faced Dongsha Beach, offering unparalleled ocean views right from the window. You can even watch the sunrise and sunset from bed – it was so relaxing by the sea, we didn't want to leave. The hotel environment is top-notch, with lush greenery and a comfortable poolside area where you can enjoy the sea breeze. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. Overall, our stay was incredibly satisfying. This is definitely the perfect place for a vacation, and we'll certainly be back next time. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Zhoushan to see the ocean!"

"On the day of my trip, there was heavy fog and rain, causing multiple changes to the ferry schedule. I really appreciate the executive, Li Fenjun, for her thoughtful reminders and assistance with coordination throughout: she gave me early warnings about cancellations, promptly informed me when services resumed, proactively arranged a shuttle when there was traffic control on-site, and even helped me clarify false information, ensuring I got on the vehicle smoothly. The hotel's location is excellent, close to a bus stop, making travel very convenient. A little tip: when returning from Mount Luojia, you can take the hotel's vehicle directly back without having to detour to Puji Temple. The entire trip went very smoothly, and I'm very grateful!"

"I absolutely loved this hotel! It's super close to Puji Temple and offers butler service and pier transfers, which made everything so easy and stress-free. The annex building is beautifully traditional, and our room was quiet, clean, and had a lovely Zen ambiance. I especially enjoyed the seating area on the veranda – perfect for admiring the old trees and escaping the heat during the day, and for a peaceful nap listening to the rain at night. A wonderful surprise was finding out the hotel has its own Zen hall where you can attend classes, and a cultural exhibition hall with truly beautiful displays."

"The overall experience was great, perfect for a trip with friends. The location is very convenient, easy to park if you drive, and not far from the pier. Dining and shopping nearby are also hassle-free. The lobby is grand, and there are lots of green plants and lawns in the park, making for a lovely atmosphere for an evening stroll. The front desk service felt quite thoughtful; Judy made the check-in process smooth, and she was very patient when answering questions. The room was spacious enough, and the view from the high floor was very good, offering a distant sea view. The bedding was comfortable, making for a relaxing sleep. The room facilities were complete, and the bathroom experience was also quite good. The hotel amenities are also quite comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool and a gym, perfect for exercising and relaxing in your free time. There are many breakfast options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, and freshly cooked noodles. Overall, the experience was good, and it offers great value for money. I would recommend it to my friends."

"We were quite apprehensive after seeing so many negative reviews, so we went in with a 'go with the flow' attitude. Our butler, No. 2, was incredibly helpful. Someone even met us specifically at the pier. They were always responsive to our needs. Since we had a baby, they prepared a baby cot for us in advance and kindly allowed us to extend our check-out time. The pier transfers were also very convenient; they helped us transport our luggage to the lobby as we had a lot with the baby. Overall, we weren't really dissatisfied with anything. The lady at the front desk, Chenxiang, was so lovely and lucky; the baby immediately went to her when she held out her arms! 😄 The portions at the restaurant were huge, which really surprised me! 🫶🏻 We didn't get to ride in the legendary pickup truck though! 😄 To be fair, the soundproofing isn't great, but after all the walking and prayers, we were so tired that we fell asleep instantly. So grateful!"

"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise during our trip! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they even upgraded our room. The sea view from the room was amazing, and the overall stay was very comfortable. I also have to praise the breakfast – it was a fantastic surprise! There was a wide variety of options, and everything tasted great. I highly recommend the small wontons; they have thin wrappers and generous fillings. In terms of location, it's very close to Putuo Tiandi, which has lots of dining, drinking, and entertainment options. It's about a 15-minute drive from Zhujiajian Port, so if you're planning to go to Mount Putuo, it's best to allow some extra time."

"The hotel is quite beautiful. The restaurant is decent, not amazing but not bad either. The waitress was very thoughtful, asking if I had tried raw seafood before and if I was okay with it. The hotel has a beach, perfect for kids to spend an afternoon. The bathtub in the room is also nice, with no issues except for a slight dripping sound from the internal pipes. It's also great for photoshoots, and there are areas for kids to play. Crucially, it's very close to the ferry terminal, only a 17-minute drive, so we made it for the first ferry to Putuo. This trip was a bit rushed. The hotel even offers complimentary travel photography sessions, and you can also take beautiful pictures around the hotel itself. The tea at the hotel's tea bar is quite good, and the small drinks are also fine. It's suitable for a relaxing vacation, and many spots around Daqingshan are also stunning."

The hotel's swimming pool had crystal clear water, and there were also two small hot spring pools nearby perfect for relaxation. My only minor feedback is that some small fixtures in the room were loose, so I'd suggest the hotel's engineering department regularly inspect and maintain the rooms. Overall, my expectations were met, and I even managed to capture a stunning sunrise over Mount Putuo in the East China Sea from my balcony in the early morning."
