Atlantica Akti Zeus Hotel

Just for clarity this is a review by someone who normally goes "Adults Only". This was a family trip so no real option on that front. There were plenty of couples and for life of me I can't understand why they would come to such a hotel? Happy to be enlightened. Would have given the hotel overall 3 stars but lost another as follows: We were told to move out of a public area of the hotel for a wedding because it was raining. It is not like it was a nice area just tables under cover. Sorry but I paid for the hotel the same as everyone else. If you are daft enough to have a wedding in such a place your problem as it is a busy hotel Check in and check out incredibly slow with grumpy reception staff. Needs a queuing system instead of total chaos. Hotel at first glance seem very well kept on the outside but not so the outer blocks, guess where we were? They are not so clean looking with lots of cracks (see pics.). The interior of ours was a little tired. However, the room were clean and well serviced. All agreed the step down from the toilet to the bedroom is a recipe for an accident. The communal areas are very well kept and clean. This is a family hotel yet smoking in any bar or seated area is prolific. Even encouraged in the room balconies with ash trays available. Very bad example for a family hotel. Sun loungers were plentiful around the pool if you get up at 6am with your towel in tow. Plenty on beach but watch for wind burn. Food in the main restaurant was more than acceptable and we generally found it was hot (rare in all inclusive), varied and of good quality. Only downside is, go at wrong time and its a "chimps tea party" with children eating on the move with forks etc in their mouths. Those with younger children just left them to throw food on the floor and leave a complete mess. I believe these days they are allowed to express themselves? The alternative Greece restaurant we just couldn't get a booking. I went personally and was told they would sort something out and get back to me but didn't. Plenty of feral children running loose on an evening doing whatever they wanted. One pair were trying to play football in a bar area and when told to stop by the manager just ignored him while the parents just looked on. Forget the the so called evening dress code. ANYTHING GOES. Don't agree with it but so many TUI hotels state a dress code and NEVER enforced.

I had two massages by a lovely lady called Zwi at the sap. Both massages was amazing and worked out the knots in my neck. Zwi was very polite, caring and knew what she was doing. The spa is really clean ans the facilities there were great to use like the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. I would definite recommend.

Was really looking forward to coming to the hotel, it ticked all of the boxes, waterpark, swim up rooms and beach but in reality it fell short. My children were unable to use the slides in the waterpark as tthere is an age limit of 8. this needs to be fully documented in the info so you know this before booking. It was a huge disappoin**ent for my 2 children that they couldnt use the water slides. we only ever visit hotels with water parks and never have they not been able to use the slides. The Pools were absolutley freezing it wouldnt take much to heat the swim up pools as they are only small and when you pay a premium for a swim up you expect to be able to use it. The food was really slow to be replensihed when it had run out in the restaurant, most days i was stood around waiting for food. The entertainment on a night was disappointing, the team work hard you can see that but for a 4 star family freindly hotel i expected alot more. facilities for children again for a family friendly hotel is seriously lacking, no park, no soft play nothing really to keep the children entertained especially when they cant use the waterslides. The location is ok and a short walk or taxi into the town. the power station is not a problem at all and you only see it if looking for it

We had the best experience at Atlantic Aki Zeus Hotel. Our wedding was celebrated here and we had an amazing day every thing went as planned and even the last minute requests were attended by the manager Maria. Maria was a crucial part of our wedding she made sure that we would have the best day of our lives. We did thanks to Maria and to all the staff everything was perfect and exceed our expectations. Highly recommend this hotel just for a holiday where you will never be bored as you will have lots of entertainment or for your wedding I can guaranty that you will not be disappointed. This hotel is so so lovely. Please don’t listen to any negative reviews because honestly we had such a good time. The power station is no bother at all, honestly it really isn’t. The food was delicious and lots of choice. The choice of bars is lovely and you get your drinks in the right glassware rather than a plastic beaker. The entertainment team were great and did everything they could. The water park onsite is so handy as you can just nip up and then go back to your sunbed. The hotel is a little isolated but you can walk to the shop. You can walk into the little centre along the beach but we didn’t as there is an inlet of water half way. You can walk along the road but not the prettiest walk so we just got a taxi for small amount. Well worth a visit to the town though and petousis restaurant is amazing and reasonable. It has a windmill outside. The grounds of this hotel were spotless and with it being straight on the beach it was absolutely ideal for having the best of the beach and pool without lugging all your stuff. Hope this helps because honestly we loved it here as would return

Lovely hotel , spotless clean, food very good and fresh and good choices Staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble, entertainer is fab gets everyone up and joining in and variety of activities Manager is visible every day and approachable if need anything Excellent hotel can recommend and

We have been at the hotel since Sunday morning. The hotel is friendly, elegant, clean. it is located on the seafront the staff is top notch. they are all smiling and welcoming. the entertainment team is friendly, including the young woman in charge of the children's club. we appreciate our room 425 whose view is extra ordinary..the splash world is great. thank you all we enjoy our stay.

Hotel was very nice, clean, cosy green garden, well maintained. Staff pleasant, alwasy hard working, we did not meet any incovenience. Aquapark for kids is quiet far from main restaurant and pool and sun didnt shine all day there. Problem for families with kids could be evening program, which is pretty lound and is going on until 11pm - but hopefully balcony doors keep room quite. Food was excelent!! Plenty of fresh veggie, fruit, fish…everthing! Power station is right next to hotel, with 5 huge chimneys:/ Not smelly, but it spoils beach view. No place to go for a walk. But we enjoyed our stay.

Honestly, when I’ve read the reviews and seen the pics , I was really excited to go there. It is not a 4 stars hotel. Staff is absolutely lovely, but so overworked. Pool is not always clean and food is not always great. Leftovers are always proposed the next day either in a sauce or in a sort of salad. While going to lunch or dinner, glasses are stained or dirty. Our room wasn’t as expected. We found it quite neglected, dusty, filled with mould/humidity spots. We just got in the room a small bottle and 1,5l bottle of water for the entire week. It never gets renewed in the room. We were supposed to have a garden view. The only garden we had was the fence with the neighbouring resort. Sea and seashore are awesome. Such a big disappoin**ent
